Ok. This one is not exactly what the title says.
My wife and her sister will indeed be blindly rating some VERY hyped men's fragrances in the online community today.
But to make it more interesting, they will also be rating some relatively unknown fragrances that I believe are fantastic and should be hyped.
Ultimately, their job is figure which ones are hyped and which ones aren't, and what they think about them either way.

I’m a rookie in the fragrance game (not really been wearing since teens) and the reason I say that is because recently I’ve been actually buying a variety and going out of my comfort zone. I recently bought three entry level niche colognes and I’m loving it. Again to my rookie nose, they are all great. They are all from mancera: sensual vetiver, lemon line, intense cedrat boise.

Super fun video! The Cedrat reaction is priceless, lol. It's really not that surprising to me, though. Citron is a very floral citrus (especially the real life thing). I'm more surprised of the Ébène reactions. One of my favorite TF's, too.

I know scent is subjective, but damn a 3 for Cedrat Boise. I love the stuff. I agree with one of the other comments, let Gabri rummage through your collection and do a video of the top 5 she does like. Great video!

I find that cedrat boise smells way better in the air than it does when smelling it up close. My partner wears it and I smell the scent trail and I'm like wow what do you have on?? Mind you I wear cedrat boise a ton and the way it smells in the air was something so gorgeous and new to me.

Cedrat boise is one i enjoy smelling for 20 minutes. My bottle the drydown is just so much smoke. I never find myself reaching for it.

Great idea for a video. Re l’envol, I totally get the baby powder thing from DiorHommeParfum. It took for one person to mention it to me one time and now my opinion is like what Gabrielle has for l’envol. I don’t think the same thing is there for DiorHommeIntense which comes across more with the root accord.

I’m not a huge Cedrat Boise guy even though I do have it. I will say, though I don’t know how she came to the conclusion of it smells like a bad smelling flower. If she said it smells like a cleaning product I would get that. Especially off the paper I get synthetic lemon, not any flower

@YouNoob269 There's a clone by an Australian company Jalul called Morningstar. I plan on getting a bottle so I can use that as a multi spray base and then just top off with 1 or 2 sprays of Dark Lord. This way the expensive stuff lasts while still being able to apply generously. I don't hear a lot of people talking about using clones in conjunction with the originals. But for those of us not made of money, it really stretches out the longevity of our bottles.

*Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme* by far receives more positive attention than any other fragrance I own. I can wear a different fragrance every day and the day I wear Eau Extreme everyone asks what I'm wearing. I enjoy it, definitely not my absolute favourite but it's bulletproof
