Good to have you back! We are still waiting on season 3 so you dont worry about falling any further behind. It appears you never uploaded episode 5? Or maybe you missed watching it and didnt notice Keyleths updated out fit. As for your commentary: yes it sure feels like this group is still very disjointed and just barely functioning in their world saving duties. With the major trials ahead I feel like theyre not going to truly come together until the final season. Which is sad to me as the close interpersonal dynamics were a core part of the original material, in just episode 9 of 115 Vax while reassuring Keyleth said "We are a family" and from just those few beginning episodes you knew that was a true statement. Some of these animated people seem to barely tolerate one another

Only saying this because I'm sure you're a few episodes ahead on Patreon, but great predictions of what happen in the very next episode! And while Grog's issues seem obvious to us in the audience, I think they play it up really well as an analogy for addiction.

I'm going to jump straight atit, and recommend the Grimm Dark Scf-Fi setting of Warhammer 40,000 franchise there are many videos on KZbin, including Cinimatics and Lore videos, and there are rumours that Henry cavil is doing a live action series/ movie with Amazon. if you do give it a try I recommend the 9th edition cinematic as a start point,

To answer your question on if a healer can heal themself... . . . . Yes! As long as the healer is conscious and able to speak or move in a manner that meets the spells requirements, they can heal themselves. I know this as a D&D player who plays clerics. Granted every table and game master AKA GM / DM may have different rules.

Yeah, Grog stabbing Pike was a crazy moment. Even worse was in the game's version of events it was purely an accident rather than Grog losing his mind like here. In the game there were a couple different portals to the different Elemental Planes in the chamber where they were fighting (different monsters rather than Umbrasyl, that was a change for the show), Grog got shoved through the portal into the Plane of Air (no ground, no water, just endless air adrift in the sky). One of Grog's items is "the Chain of Returning" which he can attach to his weapons allowing him to throw them and pull them back to himself. He attached the chain to his axe and threw it back through the portal to use as an anchor to pull himself back through the portal. Problem was, Pike had rushed over to try and save him too and thanks to a low roll on Travis' part, Grog's axe embedded itself in her chest rather than anything else.
