i absolutely agree w your take, quanky definitely has more mature production now, he’s able to take these sounds and craft a focused soundscape. I Didn’t Mean to Haunt You was easily top 20 maybe even top 10 albums of last year for me personally

IDMTHY was top 3 of last year and it wasn't 3. BC,NR - Ants From Up There was far and away my AOTY but IDMTHY was absolutely the biggest surprise of the year for me. EXCELLENT!

Quadeca is an artist that has always been pretty good but has had clear improvements in each album. So many artists I listen to can be hit or miss but quadeca's music has only ever gotten better (except for his album 'bad internet rapper' that sucked lol), can't wait to see whats next as he's got a song with brakence dropping soon which is honestly a dream collab

a reaction for the didnt mean to haunt you album would be cool but it is a bit long at around an hour. Could be listed individually but I think it just better listening to all at once. But the video itself would be very long too so I am not sure what the best way to tackle the album is.

i love this song almost as much as i love pretty much everything off of idmthy, but it does definitely feel like a slightly cheesier, more casual listen than his newer stuff (which is for lack of a hetter term "good headphones music" and deserves my full attention with every listen). that being said, this is probably the closest song in his entire discography to idmthy in terms of sound and skill level that isnt actually on idmthy. anything of his you listen to that's older than this might give you whiplash having started with born yesterday...
