The video would probably be better than most if it weren't ruined by the intolerable music;. I couldn't get past the 4 minute mark before I had to leave and I was very relieved to do so. In my opinion I didn't miss anything fabulous enough to force myself to endure the ridiculous music. No matter how great you believe the music or whatever else you want to unnecessarily put in your video always remember that more than one person is going to have the opinion that its the dumbest thing that you could have done and they may be right. Dig the exit from the sluce deeper and direct the water flow across the top of the wheel. The new Overshot wheel will give twice the power for the same amount of water. The only other change you will need to do is turn the wheel through 180 degrees so the scoops are reversed.

Digging the tail race deeper would not work unless the river level drops away to a lower level. It’s the surface level of the head race compared to the surface level of the tail race which matters
