Just a reminder, When Demiurge was talking about the Holy kingdom, that is the arc that was skipped in the anime between episode 7 and 8 of this season, the movie will cover the Holy Kingdom arc. so if you are recording these videos in multitude, its ok if you are very confused after episode 7 because they left out massive context and an important event that they decided to depict in the upcoming movie instead.

For context about "Terrorizing the Emperor" it goes so much deeper than what is shown in the anime. Jircniv has said that he always feels like someone or something is spying on him and blames Ainz, to which he is correct in both but not what about. Ainz has been spying on his friend Jircniv so that he would learn how to carry himself with the demeanor of someone Ruling a Country. Since Ainz is just a lowly office worker/Salary Man whose experience only reaches about the level of office politics (and given their society Office Politics isn't even a thing anymore) what better way to learn that observe an Emperor? So whenever he has free time, Ainz would take some of it to use the Spying Mirror to observe Jircniv, but little does he know that Jircniv is naturally sensitive to such surveillance that he starts to lose his hair because of the stress.

When Cockyutos talked about the one that will ride him he is refering to Ains future child. In the second episode when Shaltear and Albedo were figjting Demi mention the posibility of Ains having a child and our insectoid cold warrios was imagining himself as the cool uncle carrying the child on his back. Ironicly the ones with a closer brotherly relationship are Shaltear and Aura since their creators were brother and sister. The NPC have adopted many personality traits from their creators so Aura is a stand in for Buku buku chagama the older sister and Shaltear would be like Peroroncino the younger brother. The relationship Aura and Mare have is more the twisted ideal Buku buku chagama had. To have an obediant, submisive younger brother who did as she said. The travel took longer in the novels cause Zenberu did not remember the way very well and Ains would use magic to see his memories to find the way. Ains fancy himself a colector and when he met Crush (the albino lizardwoman) he was stroming her scales because he thought she was rare. Oh and other than chilling with the lizardmen Cockyutos lead them to subjugate a race of frog people.

About minmaxing the Quagoa by giving them rare metals. Their strength depends on the metal they eat during their youth. Ainz does have access to stupidly rare metals, but raising powerful quagoas would be a long term project (which he totally might do). That's also another reason to meet with the dwarfs. To see if they could work with some of the rare metals he has in his treasury.

10:10 "Still neglected tons of characters" To be fair, there are way too many characters in Nazarick to develop them all. We get a focus on two to three per season, plus a few bits on others. But, between the floor guardians, the Pleiades, the specific occupations (guardian of treasury, interrogator, etc.) and some we barely got a passing mention about (e.g. Aureole Omega), it's impossible to get information on all of them in so few episodes per season, unless we get a series that is 100% about "life (and undeath) in Nazarick". (Maybe Pure Pure Pleiades, but I couldn't find a source to check this.)

Something that was left out of Demiurge's dialogue when speaking to Albedo before getting handed the official document from the Empire requesting vassalation is that Demiurge said the subjugation of the Empire was planned to take place after finishing up their plans on what they intend to do to the Kingdom first. (As you recall in episode 2 Albedo already hinting to Renner that they have a plan already concocted) The plan is world domination after all so Jircniv is extremely lucky because if he hadn't done that, he and the Empire would've been forced to take the brunt of whatever evil scheme Demiurge had cooked up in order for Ainz to take over the Empire by force 💀 since Jircniv did this so quickly, in return the Sorcerer Kingdom treated the Empire with kindness. The lesson of the story being the sooner you bow down to the Sorcerer King, the better it'll be for everyone's sake 😅

I agree with your opinion on season 4, though. These episodes focused on the Guardians are really nice, even if there isn't "much" happening at the moment. Also... 8:40 Just think of them as (extremely malicious) children who REALLY want their parent's attention (or maybe "uncle" would be more accurate for everyone but Pandora's Actor), and these weird actions really start making more sense. 24:05 then I'll meme you in another way, Luke. The reason Shalltear wore her armor even though she was facing weak foes is because her armor has a trait that helps her keep her bloodlust under control. She doesn't want to make the same mistakes as in season 1.

It wasn't really luck that they met with Gondo Firebeard. He was digging in the old dangerous tunnels after his work in the other dwarven mines because he needed more samples for his research into runesmithing. Since he does not have talent and was the only dwarf still passionate about the forgotten craft, he had to rely on more resources than the other dwarves to support his lifestyle (instead of drinking at the bars like the other dwarves). This is what led to Ainz meeting him in those abandoned tunnels.

Hey, nice reaction once again! 1- You might have forgotten since it's been a shortwhile and you watched many things since then, but Cocytus was handed the lizarmens. He is now their leader in a way. He is the one they have to report too, he is the one training them, he is the one solving issues and all of that. He was the one requesting for them to be left alive after all, so they are now his duty. 2- Cocytus was sooooooo happy when Zenberu was "disrespectful" toward Ainz. He was able to fulfil one of his desire, being used as a chair. It's not that he jumped on the occasion... Nah... He litteraly dropped from orbit on the occasion. He waited for it so much he couldn't wait much more. Also, that scene and the scene between Albedo and Demiurge really show well the rivalry between every guardians. It's not just Cocytus with Shalltear and Albedo with Demiurge, it's all of them against all of them. Of course, it is friendly rivalry, well, as friendly as it can get between very sadistic people. 3- Something you must have missed during the scene were Shalltear was showing how desperate she is to rectify her previous mistake... She does have a point. Albedo and Demiurge do see her as incompetent and useless. But not just them, most of them do and keep belittleing her since she was brainwashed. She did raise her weapon against Ainz and they want to make sure it will not happens again, and they do so by heavily bullying her daily. At that moment, they do not see her as a floor guardian even though Ainz does, they see her as a liability. Her making sure she will be able to do her job perfectly and clear her name and her crying when she explain it to Aura makes perfect sense. Sadistic people like her very often aren't able to take what they throw after all.

I think whenever Ainz tell those he makes a deal with him to sell their souls to him is both a figure of speech and a form of him roleplaying as a villain, which is something he likes. He's build is mainly for RP purposes after all. I think what he meant is to serve him with unquestioning Loyalty and him only, any example of betrayal is unforgivable.

It was an idea of Demiurge. Funny thing is... Ains had NO CLUE ABOUT THE PLAN, and inadvertently did EXACTLY what Demiurge was going to see about trying to do it and asking him about doing it. The thing is, Ains going to the Dwarven Kingdom was to see about runecraft, as it perked his interest when he looked at the sword. It wasn't any grand plan. Yes, Cocytus was tasked in running the Lizardmen, as a test to see how well he can expand his abilities. Also Zenbaru remembers how they first interacted with Ains, so he was worried the same would be done to the Dwarves. And similar to the Lord of the Rings, the depiction of dwarves living inside of a mountains. But in this case, similar to The Hobbit, the dwarven city has been abandoned due to a mortal enemy. This particular dwarf is searching for things in their old city. Gondo mentioned he was part of a famed runecrafting family, but it seems to be a dying art.

the lizardman build a statue in honour of ainzs all on their own. its crude and not that good, but the nazarick ppl still love it, and have like respect for em building the thing - thats how it should be, also recognize the lizardman doing offerings like the best fish and flowers and the like, while nether has value to nazarick, they give up the best fish, their main food source in honour of him, and lizardman going into the main land to find flowers, which is a dangerous job for em cuz not that fast on normal ground etc. one of the reasons why going to dwarf kingdom - like a sidejob kinda deal - for ainz is how he wants the dwarf to fashion an set of armour for Zaryusu to commemorate birth of the childrens, wasnt sure what to give to please him and crush lulu, zenburu suggestest armour, which ainz then considered as it should please both of them. ainz want em to breed more white lizard babies. ainz arrived a bit early in the lizardman village while cocytus was still out with the warriors liberating villages of other species around the rest of the lake - mind you the lizardman are among the weaker species at the lake. when they made their convoy to the dwarf kingdom both shalltear and aura were ordered to bring 30 of their subordinates along - e.g. a full raid party each. one of the maids int he room also stepped forth and insisted on bringing maids along, but as that would be too risky, ainzs ended up compromising on bringing a bunch of shalltears vampire brides along to act in the role as maids - they just hang around do nothing at all the whole time, cuz ainz had no clue what to do with em, so just ended up sending em all to their own room in the tower n such. they had zenburu ride one of auras animals, as he had no skills in riding, but auras animals would be able to handle it, as he could just tell em directly where wanted to go and such. he tested how the tower behaved in the new world, and had some undead stay outside and had em ordered to try open once doors where closed from inside etc - they couldnt open it without help from inside. the dwarfen kingdom is pretty far away from the empire . i think it was like a 6 day march or so away for ainzs party, with like em walking 100km each day or so, while zenburu took several months to get there when was traveling on his own, and finding it by coincidence. ainz gave the leader of the hanzos a red scarf for his arm, the leader is identical in look and abilities to the rest, but dud was super proud for receiving the gift. mhm i do like how the dwarf like tried grabbing auras hand instinctively and tried to run away WITH her. he initially grabs her at first but it evtl became like more akin to her holding him in place, but it took him a while to realise that. in the LN they show a extended part of what he did before went to abandoned city, mining in the tunnels till had enough money to go on his expedition. he has a magic lantern with him, eventho he can see in the dark. and he has a magic back of holding where he puts the debri in he mined off from the walls till he could discard it elsewhere later. quagoa are described as mole like creatures in the LN. shalltear excels at fighting large groups of enemies. she has a lot of aoe abilities and can summon a big swarm of familiar through her houshold. charm spell works like so that it makes the target think the caster is their friend and will treat em as such. the caster can only make em do things you could expect a friend for you to do. e.g. he wouldnt kill themself if asked so - would need domination for that. anything that would be sus if asked a friend would risk breaking the spell. hence why ainz replies the way he do.

About the Quagoa becoming stronger with what they eat, Ainz conscidered to have their young eat some rare metals, but wether or not he did that is not said in the novel. There is one funny intermission I will save for the next episode about an ingot from Ainz and a certain dwarf

"create fortress".. actually there ARE spells in D&D classic/tabletop that allow you to create temporal tent/houses ... so yeah ... another reminder that their magic system was inspired/lifted/copied from D&D. "charm species" that Shalltear used seems to be just charm person from D&D... it makes the target see you as their very best friend xD.. also she used "mass hold species" that seems to be D&D "Mass hold Person" spell... i dunno if the "species" part is from the game or a mistranslation... also this is a reminder that Shalltear IS a cleric.. and a vampire ... clerics get access to "hold" spells and vampires racials have "charm" spells. PS: Ainz would be considered a lvl 20+ caster... which in the D&D setting are considered demigod-like figures.... the anime/LN Overlord is what happens when you drop a lvl 20 Mage and his guild into a lvl 7 Campaign.

Ainz-sama being this generous overlord and teaching Shaltear to git gud. Also the fleshing out of the Nazarick's internal relationships is one of my favourite things about this season, along with Ainz-sama's showing of real and imaginary competency at the same time. Truly a complex character. Day 48 of asking to react to "The tree song", "Carry me away" and "Never" from the anime "Kaiba".

About Shalltear…if she was given a proper equipment and trained, she would BODY anyone, and I mean anyone, except the extremely strong players with special power/items/equipment that can only be owned by 1 person, such as Touch me or Ulbert. She is quite literally a Raid boss in form of an NPC, so questioning if they wanna annihilate the country is a correct one.
