I totally missed this the other day! LOL! Caught it now though & I've definitely been to a couple of the spots you mentioned, although it was quite a few years ago. La Piazza in both Merrick & Plainview, along with Umberto's in New Hyde Park. Delicious food at all of them. There's a few other Italian restaurants that although not on your list, I've found to be super tasty also. Patrizia's of Massapequa Park, Dodici in Rockville Centre & Montana's in Freeport.

Big fan of the LI restaurants. You have several that I love. St James in Mineola, La Piazza in Merrick, Smokin Al's in Massapequa, Umberto's (of course,,,for steak I loved Morton's and Peter Lugers,,keep the content coming,,as always you do a great job!

I walked past the St James for years i worked at Interboro Insurance on Mineola Blvd and the Blackstone is a few minutes drive from where i live the RoseMarie is not that far as well.

John, I wouldn’t be surprised if we crossed paths at one time or another in the past. I enjoy many of those restaurants as well. Ever go further east like Port Jefferson

Blackstone one of my favorites I always order the scallops whether as the meal or appetizer Sushi pretty good too

Salumi is a great place I remember when they first opened definitely a hidden gem. Rothmans is another great steakhouse beautiful bar with a huge wood burning fireplace.

Hey John do you know of any Italian Restaurants in South Jersey where they serve authentic Italian food cooked by Italians. We may be traveling to Italy soon and want to try some more authentic dishes rashes then American Italian dishes like chicken Parm (even though it’s delicious haha) thank you
