​@@SRSRT_ SCP 1762-1 was a cardboard box, spray-painted silver, with the text "Here be dragons" written on the side. Every so often, SCP 1762-1 will open and release a bunch of origami dragons (dubbed SCP 1762-2) that will fly around and interact playfully with eachother and Foundation personnel. Messages brought by 1762-2 have revealed that the box is a gateway to the world of Fantasy, home of many different creatures. Then "The Jabberwocky Event" happened: -The dragons brought a message that they can't stay in our world for long and that the other people of Fantasy were growing impatient. They begged the Foundation to save them. -A few crumpled-up balls of paper came rolling out, twitched for a moment and stopped moving entirely. The message this time claimed that the Giants were foolish, trying to enter before they were ready. Time was running out. -Five dragons came out, bringing a message and leaving immediately. Tensions were rising, half of Fantasy believes humanity had grown ignorant and stupid, so they wanted to strike and enter our world, with the dragons trying to keep the peace, worrying that they may have been forgotten by us. -A single dragon, crumpled and with its wings torn off, came with a final message before dying on the spot: "War. Goodbye, friends." -The box then caught fire. After seven months, a message was found in the remains. Fantasy was no longer save, almost everyone was dead or had disappeared. They were going to bury their gateway to our world. They hope that, at some point, we could make a new gateway. They have little hope of this happening, but they cherish the thought. -One final message was delivered. Apparently, the ruler of Fantasy decided to take the few survivors with him and create a new Fantasy, one which _we_ can no longer be part of. "We are sad. We love you. We will not Forget you. We are scared. Will You Forget Us?" -The box reformed, but the old "Here be dragons" message was gone, now replaced with "Here were dragons". The box had ceased all anomalous activity since. Seven years passed, and the box became active one more time. It released purple smoke and delivered an amethyst crystal and a leather-bound book. The book was an encyclopedia of all creatures that lived in Fantasy, the book is classified by the Foundation as 1762-BOL-1. The amethyst crystal had the words "One Last Time" carved into it. Upon trying to pick up the box, it disintegrated into ash. The remains are currently kept in a containment capsule in the office of one of the researchers.

Actually, it turns out that SCP-682's psyche is so overwhelming with hatred, all of the previous psyches of Dr. Bright's host had to work together to control 682 long enough for the pendant to be removed. The test was deemed a failure.

ok i have question for Doctor Sherman, since i want to try and make my own scp. What would you classify an object that causes small damage to the area it is contained within, but if worn by a D-Class it would try to escape, and give the bearer anomalies powers?

I’m not Doctor Sherman, but I’d say Euclid/Whatever the Mask (035 I think) has. The mask leaks an acidic substance, and when worn controls the mind of the person wearing it.

Depends. Is the "small damage" a one-time thing, or is it continuous? If left alone for long enough, could it in theory damage the floor enough that it falls through? Scenario A: The object does some damage, but only once and that's it. Object class: Safe. Leave it in a locked box that can withstand a little damage. Scenario B: The object continuously causes damage over time and regularly needs its containment changed. Object class: Euclid. Put it in a box, put it in a new box if old box is too damaged.

if it makes people wear it then its keter if it needs to be maintained and during that it has a chance to escape then its euclid if it can be in a box and have very tame or not show any anomalies abilities then it's safe

Ok, I’m not fluent in Hebrew, but I go to a Jewish school and have been learning it since kindergarten. I think keter translates to “crown” if I’m right, that’s the only word I can think of close to it. That’s actually pretty cool, I’ve never seen the word “keter” as a Hebrew word, and it’s always so awesome to see the language used in different media. Not Sherman, but I’ll answer anyway. The clockwork virus, also known as SCP-217, is a keter class SCP. It is a disease which slowly robotizes the person who catches it. It had by used by the Church of the Broken God to help their members transition. The Church of the Broken God, also known as Mekanism, is a religion classified as a GOI. They worship a metal god known as Mekane, who broke themself apart to make a cage for Yaldabaoth, a flesh god with the mind of an animal. The religion itself is pretty complicated, but basically, they believe we would be better off in a world of machines (explaining the virus), and wish to repair their god. Hope this helps!
