Красть контент нехорошо, если берешь за основу чужой ролик, хотя бы указывай автора! Этот ролик почти полная копия видео Niko kzbin.info/www/bejne/i5vVoaSJaN6Wi6c #baklanarchitect

Thank you. @Balkan Architect , what you will say? This video copied 99% (Original kzbin.info/www/bejne/i5vVoaSJaN6Wi6c). Fine if you don't have any ideas, you can steal my ideas. BUT YOU should say in your videos where original. Thank you.

I have over 600 videos on my channel, there is bound to be some overlap in ideas with other channels. This simple 3D model is nothing original, anyone that finished architecture school probably made something similar at some point. There are tones of these tutorials in SketchUp or other software for the same thing. Please don't accuse me of steeling because in that case you stole it as well.

Balkan Architect my little friend, here no need to be a specialist to see what you did. You may have 1000+ videos. It’s nothing. I said stop do the stealing. You got my point

I think it's important to remember we're all producing content for the same reason - we want our industry to improve and we want to raise awareness for ourselves as educators so our content can reach more people. There's financial motive for some too, but I wont get into that as I don't monetize my channel. In this case Balkan I think it looks like the fundamentals of the video came to you as inspiration through Niko's content - the layout and order of creation was very reminiscent. Whilst I wouldn't get too caught up in argument of stealing an idea (you're right in that we don't own the layout or the workflow, but we at least produce it), it's moreso just a matter that it's respectful to cross reference where our ideas come to us from. If this was done I'm guessing Niko wouldn't have had any issues - likely would even be happy to see his content inspire others. You'll find as you explore architecture professionally that it works this way as well - companies borrow ideas here and there, but typically pay credits where this occurs (e.g. 'I was inspired by the language of Gehry in my design' etc.). You both do great work with your content, and I think it's positive if we take inspiration from one another - but we should pay credit to each other where due as well as support one another as the content creation community. We're all in this together.

I have nothing against sharing where inspiration came from, and when I take ideas from other creators, I tend to mention that (cadmapper tutorial for example). But in this case, it's simply not the fact, I had this exact video planed for months, like I sad, I made a bunch of these in school, there are similar tutorials, like showitbetter for example, that look really similar, Pinterest is flooded with images of the same thing, it isn't an original idea, by me or him. In this case it was a coincidence. I'm annoyed when people accuse me of steeling, I know people love drama (It's KZbin of course 🙂), but sometimes people have similar ideas, not everything is theft. His channel has a few videos of same very specific thing I covered, but I would never consider that steeling, maybe he saw my videos, maybe not, I don't care really, if it's a good video, I'm all for it, as you said, the point is creating useful content for the community. At the end of the day everyone has their own opinion. Maybe some day we are going to start seeing Revit channel diss tracks, in a true youtuber spirit 😉.

For planter you could just make a box instead of making steps and covering them later ..... and what’s the point of making sloped floors.... and then cover them with extrusions....... just make two ramps or two extrusions!!! Everything is over complicated and not that usefull

hello Balkan, I am a final year B.Arch. student and due to this pandemic, we are asked to give the final Thesis jury online. Can you please tell me what should I do? I tried to export my plans, sections and views form Revit to powerpoint by exporting to PDF and the, converting that PDF to JPEG with the help of Photoshop or online converter. But, all I get is blurred images when I import them to powerpoint. Please help me with this Thank you
