The casting is really amazing for this show, everyone looks like they could be related and the younger versions of the adults look so much alike. Netflix typically gets it right with casting families. I'm a huge fan of Lulu Wilson (young Shirley), she's a fantastic young actress. I was kind of pissed at Shirley for sending Luke away but she was pissed at him for throwing away thousands of dollars for rehab. Addiction is such a horrible disease and I think Shirley had enough. Still, it's not her wedding so it's not her place to make that call. I think that's the point with that scene and others in coming episodes. Shirley tends to make decisions on behalf of everyone without asking. People also tend to dump their shit on her like she said in the first episode too because she's seemingly the most well adjusted.

I love this show but I also hope to see him return in season 8 of GoT, I was thinking he and the Second Sons will get word of the Golden Company attacking Westeros and theyll come to Dani and Jon's aid in the final battle to destroy Cersei. Can't wait.

@@shadowboxing7029 Yeah, as I got nearer to the end it didn't feel as terrifying but more emotionally personal. Even seeing the ghosts or a few of the jump scares (the car scene was an exception) became secondary later in the season.

Especially for Shirley because the adult version and young version actually played mother and daughter in Ouji: Origin of Evil. Pretty cool!! I won't go into all the reasons this ep was extremely tough to watch for me; other than to say I've spent alot of time in funeral homes. I found out that Shirley's assistant (the one who picked up and delivered Nells body to the funeral home) is an actual mortician/funeral director. They wanted to make sure everything in this ep was done properly. It was all so well done!! Thanks Sith 💙

I have been keeping notes of all the hidden ghosts in the episodes. Here’s my list for episode 2: -4:15 blond haired girl in the garden outside looking into the window at Shirley -4:16 ghost in the room behind Olivia -4:27 in the back of the room behind Olivia, past the dining table and to the left -5:00 ghost in back room no longer standing, now sits in a chair at the dining table on the left side. -5:15 same ghost in back room is now standing behind the dining table more to the right Anyone see others I missed?! This has become an obsession!!! Lol

The haunting series by that I mean The haunting of Hill House The haunting of Bly Manor and midnight mass might be some of the few shows that might be worth a full reaction watch in my opinion no offense but full reactions are a bit too much for most things because while watching a reaction is kind of like getting the feeling of watching it again for the first time without actually having to watch it again and honestly most shows have some filler even the boys has some scenes to wear once you've seen them once you don't need to watch those scenes again I mean it might be nice to watch a full reaction with the boys but you know what I mean like most shows there's gaps to where you don't actually have to watch that bit and you don't have to watch the reaction to that bit so also this is an excuse to comment not just yeah you know I'm trying to say
