They don’t disagree, bill has a facade to uphold. He is far more right leaning because hes old and not with the times anymore. American politics looked respectful before trump because trump isn’t a politician he’s plant used to divide America to slow them down. Americans especially in the Midwest and lower southern areas are apart of the lowest IQ demographic in the modern world and also the poorest in history since the early 20th century and they’re voting for a corrupt millionaire who had his supporters start an insurrection. Most Americans who voted for trump don’t know what that word means that’s why he’s in charge again

The part around the 25-28 minute mark just convinces me even more that proper homeschooling is THE way to go. I was lucky enough to be homeschooled by parents who socialized us well, so I’m not “weird”, and I can’t BELIEVE the kinds of stories I hear out of public school that are talked about as just NORMAL. Physical abuse, bullying so awful and so constant that a child would be under _that much stress_ and trauma every single day all the time… I can’t imagine it. It’s not natural! If you have any capacity at ALL to homeschool your kids, _why wouldn’t you??_ Especially if you want them to be smart and talented and interested in vocational activities, because then you _know for a fact_ they will be treated worse and have worse trauma, by the unsocialized, abused, low-IQ, angry bully kids. I mean, wtf is the public school system?? Why do most people just accept that their kid will probably be physically abused, not get a thorough education, be fed toxic synthetic “food”, and come away with memories like _these??_ Of being unsafe, abused, invisible, rejected?? I mean my goodness, even if it’s hard for you and takes away from what YOU would rather be doing, why _wouldn’t_ you save your child from that kind of childhood??

If you’re mentioning perceived biases against Ben, I appreciate that you’re approaching this topic with an open mind. However, there’s an essential point to understand-this is who Ben genuinely is. He hasn’t altered his views or personality to fit the expectations of this show or its audience. The notable change, then, is not in him but in the fact that you have stepped outside of your own familiar perspectives to engage with his. It’s worth noting that this process of stepping beyond one's bubble is important on both sides of the political spectrum. I don't mean to imply that this is unique to one group, but it does seem that this type of openness is encouraged more frequently within conservative circles. The challenge and value of reaching across these divides cannot be overstated, especially as we all strive to understand others without sacrificing our own beliefs.

@garthkelly1668 - I think he's trying to embrace the MJ strategy of "Republicans watch TV too," calling out leftists. 😆 But I do find his contradictions annoying, to say the least. He touches on how the media lies and spreads misinformation. Yet he doesn't apply that same sentiment to Trump and believes every TDS facet. I find Maher a bit patronizing where he postures like an intellectual, but always does the "subject change" I touched on initially to avoid being cooked. So it's a bad faith style of debating. 💯

I don’t watch the show I just watch it if Ben or some one on a podcaste covers a statement he made and all that comes out of his mouth is Trump hatred and claiming he is Hitler and when he was just president. And hmmmbill which party did we need to create a constitutional amendment to literally stop them from staying in the presidential office?which party has tried to get change the Supreme Court number and start interfernment cams for Japanese citizens and who has tried to stop the filibuster???? The democrats are are addicted to power they and they have always been. fDR and Wilson are both corrupt democrats who were enamored with Fascism and authoritarians wh. You have no right to call some one who has just been president Hitler and republicans cults with no evidence

0:05 I’ve taken a few big breaths and I’m pretty relaxed. I have to get really chilled out before I watch this because I already know how it’s going to go. Ben is going to make utter sense and will say and see things as they are and Bill will be pretty cool about everything accept Trump, where he will say everything he’s heard from MSNBC like it’s gospel. When Bill is confronted with any version of truth that doesn’t line up with his kindergarten beef level of hatred for Donald, his motherboard short circuits. I’m the kinda liberal he is on many things, but not Trump.

These same people say Trump said he would dissolve the constitution. Then you read the quote because it was a post on truth. It says if America allows election interference, it is akin to canceling the constitution. So he never even out of context said he would cancel it, so instead of taking it out of context, they just completely changed his words. Even when Cenk was pushed on it, he said, "So what if he didn't say it? He said all of these other things." 😂 he is using it again.😂😂

As a former pothead, the issue is that it quickly becomes a daily habit, especially with youth. Kids get drunk on the weekend with friends but it rarely turns into drinking each morning and through out the day. With weed, it’s the opposite. It’s a slow boil when you start young in this day and age. It should be legal but people who sell to people under 18 should have severe consequences
@gabrieledwards1066
@gabrieledwards1066 Ай бұрын
I disagree with you about the drinking everyday thing. It's quite common for people to drink everyday. Alcoholics Anonymous has millions of members. Plus if you compare the amount of deaths from drunk driving versus stoned driving it's not close. I'm not saying either is good, but there is a difference in danger between the two. And I wouldn't be angry if they raised the legal weed buying age to 25.

We shouldn’t normalize weed as “harmless”, just like we used to normalize drinking (and still do - to some extent) Even just 10 years ago, having a glass or two of wine, or beer every night, or binge drinking every weekend is seen as the “norm” and not as an addiction. Bill is kind of full of it about weed not being addictive, just like any pothead will tell you. Yes, he could “stop” at any time without many bad side effects like hard drugs. It doesn’t mean it’s not addictive or potentially harmful. People under 18 or 21 should not touch it

@@gabrieledwards1066not everything is pure danger though. Weed can take a man’s purpose away and that’s really bad for society. And since it’s not as scary as booze it’s often overlooked. And vaping or being slightly high is harder to spot than a drunk. So people get high at work now. There’s no free lunch with it, but agreed, legalized and/or decriminalized federally then let states and local municipalities decide.
