I grew up watching him play, he was one of my favorite rugby players.

I'm glad you guys finally got to do this and show me some highlights of him I had never seen. Siti is easily my favorite winger of all time and I would probably only put peak Caucau above him when it comes to natural attacking flair and talent. Being a Chiefs & AB fan I saw a lot of him and he had a very lazy looking languid running style that probably fooled a lot of defenders but he was a killer on attack of the highest degree. What these highlights fail to show fully was that he was a supremely intelligent attacking player and could see gaps and attacking opportunities where no one else seemed to, he was also super hardworking in the game looking for chances off other players and not just a stay on the wing type winger. That he was dropped for the 2011 RWC was a travesty for me despite how well he played in that year's build up tests (vs Aus and Fiji come to mind) He still carved up for a few years in France too. A thousand thanks for the memories Sitiveni and hope he is doing well in life after rugby

And I wonder why he and Rockococo got sacked off the team in 2011? Gotta say Sivivatu, Rockococo and Muliaina were a freaking BRUTAL Back 3 no doubt.

His mom was my school teacher and he comes and visits her often when he can...And even when he was in the All Black's, he still dresses ordinary like literally 3/4 Lee (Jeans) and an old T's with flipflop or even barefoot at times.

I was at that game where Sivi scored 5 tries against Auckland, that result came out of nowhere. Waikato had been soundly beaten by Canterbury in a shield challenge the week before and we all thought Auckland were going to do the same. But he had other ideas...

The aerial kicking game of the springboks from 07-09 forced the All Blacks to change tac, that’s why joe roco, dougie howlett and sivivatu type wingers became extinct and Cory Jane, Izzy Dagg & Ben Smith were born

Sivivatu was brilliant but this is also a reminder that Kahui was pretty decent himself, he's involved in setting up Sivivatu a few times here. But of course setting Sivivatu up can be just passing him the ball and letting him run 50m by himself 😂
