love this knife! I decided to get the thicker Lengren King Kong tanto with the sleipner steel, but this one will be in my collection soon as well! Thank you for a great usage video on the St-16!

Knife reminds me of a beefed up Cold Steel GI Tanto. If you are an operator, military, or need an indestructible combat fixed blade, you could do no wrong here. That finish is tough! 154 CM is a really good steel. That knife is a tank! For that price this is a no brainer and a steal!

Don’t mind the sharpening choil. I mind the swedge making no sense and the handle looking like it will chew into my flesh. Get rid the useless swedge (doesn’t even aid in penetration) and add some smooth Micarta scales and I would buy in a heartbeat.

Awesome review! Lengren's King Kong and ST-16 have the same design, but does the difference in thickness make a difference in ease of use? They are both great blades though.

Tempting to get something in this steel. I’ve only ever had 154CM on folders how’s the toughness in comparison to Carbon Steels like 1095, 5160 and DC53? Also since it’s the same price point as N690 knives from Sitivien and Eafengrow is which is better 154CM or N690? Thanks in advance.

From my experience with these knives so far they both do a great job. I am no steel expert but so far the heat treat is pretty good from the manufacturer for Sitivien.
