Sitka Gear: Core Midweight Zip-T..... What happened?

Second. Question- in a layering system- should you ALWAYS wear a lightweight piece against skin- then the other layers?

You mainly want your base layer to be good at wicking away moisture. Sweat sitting on your skin from high activity like walking to the stand can make you cold once you sit still for awhile. You want a base layer that will absorb the moisture away from your skin. The layer doesn’t always have to be lightweight. Heavier weight pieces like the fanatic hoody are rated very high for moisture wicking. Hope this helps.

I bought the Core Lightweight Crew LS and Fanatic Hoody last week, both size XLT. Core Lightweight fit perfect but the Fanatic Hoody fit like a 3X! It was so big I'm exchanging it for a M

Yep, exchanged my XL for a L. Crazy long sleeves. Most Sitka gear fits me pretty consistent, but some pieces run big.

I agree, I’m usually an xl in Sitka but when I tried on the xl midweight zip t it was crazy long. Had to go with L

Everyone’s selling there Sitka for first lite, FL waterfowl is coming in strong and about to release there version of the duck oven. There refuge makes the Hudson feel a piece of paper

Idk man, I used to be real big on first lite, I wasn’t a fan of their durability, now I haven’t gotten my hands on anything from their waterfowl line besides the waterproof backpack. But everything I’ve purchased from Sitka has held up really well.
