RIVER... this means a lot to me. I don't get to get out there nearly enough, and woods and rivers, are my home, and only places I feel comfortable. Thank you. People don't understand the connection with, and the power of a river, and Outdoors in in general.

Great film! I am so impressed with how well the spiritual journey is expressed - not least the way he thanked the animal. The way he talks about how mistakes and failures are necessary and opportunities to learn and get better. My favorite hunting movie yet!

Great Story Telling. We moved out west three years ago and chasing elk is spiritual for us. First two years I learned by screwing it up w my bow but wife and daughter took 6x5 and 5x5 w gun, dropped in tracks. This year I finally shot a nice bull w my bow, only to bump him into terrain we could not enter wo ropes. Then our son drops a trophy six in his tracks, only to have the herd walk over and wake him up after 12 minutes upside down and he runs off w zero blood trail. This season we worked so hard and had success ripped from our fingers, but we learn from those failures and grow stronger for next season. Welcome to your new passion, it will consume you.

Well done fellas and congrats to Eric. Highly enjoyable video. Eric you're damn right "this is good for you", in more ways than one, nothing is better. Can relate to Eric in many ways. I grew up snowboarding, fishing, and hunting in and around the beautiful mountains of Leadville Co. I still do all these things, only in the beautiful mountains of Far-Far-Nor-Cal now. Of course I still make my annual trips back to Colorado for deer and elk season. Again, well done guys. PS. Sorry Eric, your brother is still my favorite snowboarder 😎✌️

@ryanlamont44172 жыл бұрын
Hang in there brother. I’ve dealt with depression and horrible anxiety for 42 years. Get out in the woods, exercise and eat real meat and fat. Cutting out sugar and carbs has make a huge change in my life. The last year has been a major turn around. Keep truckin and never give up. The struggle makes you stronger even when everything in your body is telling you otherwise. Nature is medicine. Get out and enjoy it.

To not only draw a tag the first time putting in on it and then filling that tag with a bull the fist year is a feat most will never accomplish. A lot of hard work goes into Bowhunting. There are a lot of failures and alot of lost arrows. Lol. Great video. Watching the snow boarding reminded me of when I lived in western Colorado and we would sled up into the grand mesa to do some snow boarding. I miss it so much. I’m not sure why I moved to Ohio but one day I will be moving back to Colorado.
