Joe Fliz definitely one of the OG of Malaysia's hip hop scene. He started off in a duo group with Malique, called Too Phat. It was the explosion of hip hop then, together with rivals Poetic Ammo, another legendary hip hop group (I actually liked Poetic Ammo more). Back in the 90s and early 2000s, Malaysian rap songs were almost entirely in English. I'm glad I grew up experiencing the scene those early years. PS: Too Phat had Warren G featuring on a track back in the day titled "Just A Lil Bit".
