There are four simple steps to mastery of the Sitra Thermal Diffuser:
1️⃣ Place Your Sitra in your Samsaris or other compatible Hookah Bowl
2️⃣ Pack your Shisha or Hookah Tobacco until the Sitra Blades are no longer visible in your Hookah Bowl
3️⃣ Place your Lotus or other Hookah Heat Management Device (Hookah HMD) on the Samsaris and wait 5-10 minutes (we recommend 10 minutes… it is worth it, we promise! 😇)

Do you recommend matching the diffuser material to that of the bowl (i.e. glass on glass)? If not, what are the different results?

Kind of... it's a thermal diffuser, so heat radiates inside your pack as well as on top of it. Also, you will save on the amount of shisha you have to pack. 🙂

Results are pretty awesome using the Sitra. Unfortunately the glass Sitra shape was faulty even though Kaloud customer service claimed that, that is how it supposed to be. After sending them the videos and images of how it doesn’t sit properly with on the samsaris bowl and lotus 3 is wobbling on top, Kaloud issued me a refund. I wish they would’ve sent me the right product instead of the refund.
