We got to stop with this wordplay dead bricks and all. A ma maniere spent half million on bot protection in the past. I believe they've continued to try to make it so everyone who wants em can get them. Why look at that as a bad thing.? Do you prefer resellers to have multiple pairs? Then that makes you want the shoe but if the resellers don't have them you don't want them because they're sitting. I don't think no one's falling off I think everyone who wants them can get them and there's no pictures of somebody with 100s of pairs in their bedroom. Agreed. A Ma Maniere's release for the AJ3 & AJ4 has been varied ... actually strategic IMO. They utilized EQL, SNKRS EA, Sneaker Boutique(s) distribution, F.C.F.S. and online via A Ma Maniere's own website. That's rare for a collaborator to release a product through so many channels. IG and twitter were full of people happy they copped. Me included. It seems some of the negative connotations associated w/ this release were from content creators. Because the sneaker was NOT sold-out in 3 minutes, the sneaker was NOT desired? Social media tells a different story. BTW Deegotjuice when are you posting your review bro? I just personally think that we are no longer competing with a lot of people trying to cop for resell. Most stuff now the average person can't flip for profit like after COVID. That with financial woes in the economy, leaves only people copping kicks that are must haves for them personally.

I copped the 4’s. The shoe is beautiful. I had to wait 15 minutes to check out. It cost me $262 with shipping and taxes. I wish I was lucky and not have pay taxes like some states don’t charge. My size 10.5 was $300 on stock X and people were still buying them instead of paying retail from A Ma Maniere!!

I'm glad all these shoes are "sitting". I couldn't cop the last maniere 3s or 4s for retail l and now I hit on both. people these days only want a sneaker if it has resell value and are limited just to flex. I hope nike does this with Travis shoes so everyone can cop especially since all they drop are jordan 1 lows. hope everyone keeps this energy up for the Black Toes reimagined and BC3s i need 3 pairs each lol. also the mocha 1 lows sat today and i was here for it got my triple up with ease. So resell is higher than retail? Says to me the supply lines resellers normally rely on have less inventory and retail still has inventory. What happened is A Ma stopped the flippers from soaking up the inventory before actual retail buyers have a chance. Probably more a mix of bot protection and resellers being inundated with drops that they have to pick and choose which shoes they will inventory. Seems like the initial drop was tightly controlled by A Ma so, not a lot of random retail stores out there to flip pairs to the bulk online resellers. I say good. It was getting old seeing "sell outs" that never run out on resellers sites with an artificial mark up because they grabbed control of the inventory. Good on A Ma for building a connection with its customers vs Nike pushing pairs as fast as possible to resellers so the actual customer has to pay a premium for lots of pairs that do not even have high demand.

IMO, The economy has nothing to do with kicks from The Whitaker Group sitting. Inflation has dropped to 2.5% as the fed just dropped interest rates by half of a percentage point, all while the stock markets keep closing at record highs. I might be wrong, but I suspect that the availability of kicks from A Ma maniere has more to do with the fact that James Whitmer came under investigation by the Feds for reselling overseas, mostly in Asia. As a result of the added scrutiny A Ma has been very careful with the release of recent kicks. Just a thought.

I personally think they are sitting because (A) the shipping price between $15-$25 and (B) also because are sales are final. What if you get a pair with defects? Resellers dont want to buy and can't return if they dont sell and also their shipping time is very slow. Everyone is waiting on nike where you can get free shipping and free returns too. Inflation has something to do with it somewhat too..

I think the sneaker game is in the best place it could be in. GR shoes are available and limited shoes are limited. Sneaker companies are making money because shoes still eventually sell out and the consumers are happy because we don’t have to pay crazy resell prices. The only ones scrambling to find their place are small time resellers and they will figure out something else at some point too.
