Situational Interview Questions or Scenario Based Interview Questions like...
Tell me about a time when you failed ?
You can find 5 Situation based Interview Questions in this session :
Ques 1. An employee has been working at a company for several years . They have not been getting a raise during the appraisal period for past few year . The employee has raised a grievance on this.
How should the HR respond
a. Approach the management for answer
b. Explain to employee how the appraisal process works
c. Ask employee to improve their work performance
d. Ask employee to approach the management for ans
Ques 2. The payment term of a client are 70 days but the company term are 30 day the client is not listening as an hr what will you do
a. Negotiate with client and reduce the days
b. Cancel the contract with client
c. Accept 70 day payment term as exception
d. Speak to the legal team and take decision as per company interest
Ques 3. A competitor firm has been trying to leak your company data and you have come to know that an employee is involved in data breach as an hr how will you deal with situation
a. Fire the employee right away
b. Let the employee continue and catch him red handed
c. File law case against the employee and competitor firm
d. Charge the employee and the competitor firm heavily
Ques 4 . A female employee demand 6 months of paid maternity leave whereas the organisation rule allows 3 months of maternity leave. As an HR , HOW will you tackle the situation
a. Speak with management and arrive at common terms
b. Give additional bonus to employees
c. Tell employee that more leaves are against the rule of organisation
d. Negotiate with employee and settle for 4 months
Ques 5 . For Christmas and New year the employee want additional holiday and are not satisfied with the company number of holiday currently provided.
As an HR how will you tackle this situation
a. Tell employees the organisation cannot provide additional holiday
b. Revise the holiday calendar and give them more holidays.
c. Speak to the clients and understand if additional holiday does not affect their operation
d. Align with management on taking the next steps.

mam I have many situations based questions but I am confused about answer can you tell One of the managers has a personal problem with one of the employees, because of which the employee is facing unfair treatment on a regular basis. Which of the foowing would be an appropriate way for the company's HR to deal with this a)Let the manager know that an employee has been feeling unconfortable because of their actions b)Ask the employee to have a one-to-one conversation with the manager c)Request the employee to submit a written complaint to the management d) Act as a negotiation between the employee and the manager can you tell me please 😊

Hlo mam , m fiza as a HR admin I face a big problem , don't understand the reason behind this and its solution ,can you suggest me something 🙏 ( problem is , before 2 month I join a company at low salary due to masters in pursuing on that time they said me when I performed well they increase my salary ,, and they do also currently they give me appreciation letter and 40% hike on my salary due to this alot of other employees and HOD treated me not like before some of them argument with me from starting if i tell them to improve something ,, if i tell them something about manage sap system they directly tell me that they can't do or they have not time , they also think that me as a new employee why ask them to do something they things my statement wrong ) what should I do in this situation because I already tried to understand them politely should I ask MD / Plant head for their misbehave ???????

Hello dear 😊 thanks for writing. This is very common issue. I can share few tips : 1) Stay calm as they might be looking to point out for your behaviour. 2) Focus on your individual task more. 3) Remember ultimately you will be evaluated on the basis of your performance & they on their performance. 4) Ask them to do alterations via email & keep your manager in CC (but before this take your manager in confidence). 5) Be professional & polite while writing and replying to their email. 6) If possible, try to normalise it by discussing face to face. It will fade by time as nothing remains for long. Hope so it will be helpful for you. Best wishes 👍.
