She plays so differently from others and still so simply, by changing side, pace and using walls to make drops horribly effective. Brava! 👏♥️

She's playing classic squash. BUT also shes on the ball so fast she has all the time in the world to pick her shot.

Siva, Keep going, your the person to keep Nicole's legacy going, aim for nothing less, an extremely talented quash player, maintain that discipline, go for it, the champion that you are.

Well Played Siva, you are the champion that is and has been coming for years, a very good game from both girls, some ref decisions a bit sceptical, but that is the game, VERY WELL PLAYED GIRLS.

Superb performance from Siva! I feel the let at matchpoint was given for Hania being well out of the way for 99% of the backhand backswings save for Siva's very bendy backswing here. Hania showing some professional? floorcraft providing herself breathing time in the final game at 1-6 and preventing a point scored against at 2-6.

So glad Siva won, that disgraceful video ref 'yes let' decision at the end is typical of some of the stupidity by the referees we see this day and age, it's an automatic stroke, that's the squash book rule. She's the most fluently moving player I've seen for a while, hits the ball crisply with great short game control.

Nothing wrong with that decision. Crap it’s auto stroke. Have u played squash?
@stevehughes15106 ай бұрын
@@imatilda I suggest you get a hold of the squash book of rules, read it, and save the game yet another woeful referee, there are already too many of those.

@@stevehughes1510 rule 8.6.6 if there was interference that the opponent was making every effort to avoid and the striker would have been able to make a good return, a let is allowed;
@stevehughes15106 ай бұрын
@@imatilda That's the 'general' rule as we know, read a little further on to the rules under 8.9 Racket Swing, therein lies your answer.
@mattleone6146 ай бұрын
@@stevehughes1510 Hey Steve : here is the rule re racket swing 8.9 Racket Swing A reasonable swing comprises a reasonable backswing, a strike at the ball and a reasonable follow-through. The striker’s backswing and follow-through are reasonable as long as they do not extend more than is necessary. If the striker requests a let for interference to the swing, then: 8.9.1 if the swing was affected by slight contact with the opponent who was making every effort to avoid the interference a let is allowed, unless the striker would have made a winning return, in which case a stroke is awarded to the striker; It's always up to interpretation of the rule right - my interpretation was that of point 8.9.1 - there was only slight contact - Hammamy made every effort to avoid the interference and I don't think Siva would have hit a winning return
