I guess your feeling about being a grunt into the Horde and a hero into the Alliance was the point. From Alliance point of view you're the hero everyone rely on to save Teldrassil, but from a Horde point of view, you're just Sylvanas pawn. It is said a few time during the Horde quest that you set off to conquer Teldrassil, not burn it. No one expected the tree to be burn, let alone with hundreds of innocent in there. Even Nathanos did not seem to know about it. So it make sense. You're suppose to feel keenly the defeat as Alliance and you're supposed to feel .. well like Saurfang feel as Horde.

yes Alliance sets the player as a high ranking intelligence(too much sabotage,espionage and assasination is done by the player) officer imo. you are under strict command of Anduin or his representative. I dont know how horde works. chain of command in horde seems a bit loose.

No people expected the tree to be burned, everyone just thought that Sylvanas burning it down was going to be shitty and disappointing and Blizzard kept hinting on the idea that "We don't know what might happen" so people thought the most likely outcome would be Blizzard just baiting us... in which it was.

I don’t like those feelings that alliance gets that feeling of high and mighty. I’ve always played alliance I’ve enjoyed fighting the horde, but I know the alliance isn’t the all high and mighty faction. I really don’t like the fact that an alliance player can say oh you guys a have a garrosh 2.0 and some horde players agree. Although some horde members like this burning, others don’t. I’m not to good on lore but I think the majority of alliance aren’t second guessing their faction I don’t want a white and black war. I want my faction to do something dirty back not because of revenge but of the fact that alliance isn’t the perfect faction, I want a corruption or something. Sure people are saying we don’t get anything good, but three things can happen at the end of this expansion(in my opinion,I could be wrong). 1. The horde overthrows the queen(bad idea for blizzard) 2 the alliance ends up putting her down all while looking like the holy faction(I really don’t like this, because alliance will never shut up about it) 3. The alliance does something dirty back( I think this would put balance into the game)

they kind of half assed the destruction by adding a "time traveling" feature so you can go back to before it was burned, really they should have redesigned the zone like they did with cata zones. tldr you can still do the old world events and still see new low level undead players but undercity is now as dead as silvermoon in terms of players actively using it.

Feeling like a grunt is the problem, Horde players went from heroes in legion, leaders of the order halls, etc. Now we are grunts that are forced to follow Sylvanas if we want to progress at all in this expansion. Some players didn't want to be evil, maybe giving us an option would be nice. I am fine with Sylvanas being evil, as you said in your other video she has been evil since the moment she died but we are following her anyways after having to deal with an evil warchief before. yet here we are again because we are sheep or evil (nothing against players that want to be evil, that is part of the fun in my opinion)

Sylvannas' last comment was extremely bizarre. It's almost as if Blizzard had planned for someone else to burn the tree, leaving Sylvannas to pick up the pieces and the blame as leader of the Horde (which would have been extremely interesting so long as it wasn't a throwaway character that no one cares about). Instead, they just had her do it but forgot to change the monologue that frames her as apparently being independent from her commands.

I still have loved an option as an Illidari demon hunter or druid or shaman or other potentially "good" aligned character to tell Sylvanas off at the beginning and end, where she basically tells the Horde player that the Alliance will blame you too for her actions. Her actions are literally a self-fulfilling prophecy at this point.

I think he means that it's awesome because you feel imersed in the situation, it is a horrifying situation, you feel stressed trying to save as many citisens as possible. While the situation is horrible, it's a very awesome setting they have made which truly makes you feel like what happens around you IS actually happening. You wont be able to save all 983 citisens, you dont have all the time in the world.

Well, if you are planning a surprise attack, you don't want to alarm your enemy. Taking Astranaar by stealth so Darkshore defense won't get alerted. That's why when Slyvanas and her troops approach Darkshore, only Malfurion is there to stop them because it's too late to gather troops to defend border. I know the quest doesn't start out as epic as expected, but it's only logical for our killer queen.

Played Horde....when you come across Sylvanas fighting Malfurion he has most of his health and she's in trouble....then she's all like 'He was just wasting my time, I could have taken him'....like she wasn't losing before Saurfang pulled her undead ass outta the fire. And regretted it instantly, even Malfurion was surprised he did it. In the Nightfallen quest at the beginning you find out the nightfallen were going to join alliance but the night elves wanted to take their source of magic away; claiming it was "elunes wishes" when asked what source they could have to prevent them insanity or dying the night elves replied "we do not know, but elune will guide us". I say this because their tree is now burning. So... was that elune's wish? If not, where is she? Seems kind of ironic that you wanted to take something important from the nightfallen and then have no idea how to help them after, only to loose something of yours with no idea how to help yourselves after. I didn't wish this on the night elves, but whoever said this to the nightfallen needs to be jailed; they clearly helped influence it through their bitterness.

Malefizia there’s no need to faction change, you may be disappointed in Sylvanas, but the horde in general only followed its leaders orders ( even if that leader is a maniac). Though I am an Alliance player, I understand that you feel like the horde is not the same, but consider staying for a while, for it is still the start of BFA.

It has always felt like there was a bias towards the alliance. The horde usually got lackluster quests while alliance usually got decent to awesome stuff to do. I don't think that will ever change. I "said" all of that to "say" to this: play both sides and you're good! I was primarily horde, but I played alliance as well.

Getting to Sylvanas at the end of the questline was a %#$@# in warmode. The first few nights raid groups of Alliance players sat around Sylvanas, murdering any Horde players. 'Yeah, so?' So, Mist's Edge (the section of beach Sylvanas is standing on) is phased differently then the rest of dark shore. if you aren't on that beach during the questline you can see the world quests, but any bounties on Allinace players are hidden if they are on that beach. The opposite happens when you're on the beach and the world quests vanish. It's as unfair as that group of Horde players were when Nixxiom was trying to set up an Alliance group to fight up near Lordaeron on twitch Wednesday.

Nixxiom, could you perhaps make a video about your thoughts regarding th theory that Bwonsamdi was the one to convince Vol'Jin in naming Sylvanas warchief because Bwonsamdi knew she would bring MANY deads. I know he hates the undead, but he also is a "business" man, so if what he gains (more souls) is greater than his hate he surely would do it, wouldn't he? SPOILER: And since Bwonsamdi has now become the loa of Zandalar, the new kingdom to join the Horde. He will become a big character for the upcoming events.
