What and who can help me to get rid of rust? Do I/we need to get rid of it? Or just accept and enjoy the natural process and beauty of rust?.. That song speaks straight to my soul. I live in a town that I feel has a lot of rust, metaphorically (some awful people who came to my path) but also literally (it’s not the prettiest place, some areas are so sad). I feel like I want to pack and go. But he works nearly 20 hours and I grow up the kids… it wasn’t the ideal town to make a new beginning. I’m not from here and my Greek soul can’t afford so much coldness (metaphorically and literally) Everything falls apart due to strong winds and rains too. And spending lots of time inside between October to March. Here’s to hoping you come in London or Manchester or Liverpool and come to see you for the first time ❤

Maybe I'm wrong, but this whole story looks like a prologue to something. and in some strange way, blocked memories from childhood were revealed. all those rusty things abandoned in the backyard, bicycles in the grass, power lines in the evening sky, pieces of broken slate. I had already forgotten about this a long time ago - my small homeland on the outskirts of a large industrial city. Thank you, dear, for reminding me.

I've been following Madrugada for like two decades. Nevertheless I've seen them live only once in Brussels. What a shame. I stumbled over this song listening for the millionth time to the Kids on Highstreet. This must be the best Sivert has ever done, unless I stumble over some other stuff pretty soon.
