I had a worse one (i won)- Ancient Pteparations turn 1, nothing turn 2, Zed turn 3 + double Shaped Stone on Zed... 2/2 9/4 9/4 --> 20 damage but still the funniest one is More Powder into Ricochette 15 damage combo for 8 mana xd

Well, he decided not to use shaped stone to kill Thresh, so he could have a chance of having lethal in his turn if he drew some specific cards (double attack, shaped stone). He decided he had to win next turn or he would lose, and that was a good decision. Usually everybody would have just used the shaped stone killing Thresh without thinking

Deck idea: You should try riven-vi-rose spy combo deck. Riven's blades work amazing with Vi. Also you can use whirling death or bloody business for Vi's lv up or extra 5 damage in combat. Then transform her with spy. A nice otk deck is a bit troubled about stealing life but I think you can do it perfectly :)

I’ve done this before and it’s f***ing hilarious when I just hit someone for ten with Riven on Turn 5. Chucking Darius in there is also great, and using a Counterfeit Copies on Blade of the Exile feels so good.

I believe Ricochet deals one random damage 5 times. So you could theoretically hit the nexus for 5 damage, or guarantee it if there are no enemy units. It's like Make It Rain.

I've being trying versions of this deck whole month, with addition of Dawn and Dusk since Sivir and Runner are great targets as they have spell shield. When it worked, it was pretty neat. Eventually, I gave up because I was facing too much aggro, but still, deck has potential, can't wait for the new shurima cards to get out.

Basically Sivir's spell takes a random target between the Nexus and the enemy units 5 times and damages them. It's not like Make It Rain, since it can potentially hit the same target 5 times. It's complete garbage and Sivir would be a lot better if her signature spell was Boomerang Blade.

Sivir’s ricochet isn’t great but the best use is probably if opponent has a clear board it hits nexus 5 times. So a 6 mana deal 5 which can be a nice situational finisher

If you like this concept of double attack crushing your opponents I have to recommend riven with flurry of fists. She naturally gains overwhelm, massive attack stat and quick attack. Just one 3 mana burst speed spell away from otk ;p

I think a better wording for Ricichet should be: Deal 1 to a random enemy or the enemy Nexus, do this 5 times. I got a bit confused when i first playing that card as well, but I do think they should buff that card as well, since its 'richochet', it should be able to hit every target at least once, rather than hitting 1 target only(if they opponent has open nexus then its ok to hit all.)

Boomerang blade is entire random yes... But with that said, it does seem to focus on getting a hit onto units with 1 health. I once cleared 4 units with it (3 with 1 health and 1 with 2 health). It's not the most reliable, but its not a bad gamble. In the case of your game, the spell did have a chance of hitting the nexus. It's not units first or anything.

Cardboi! First, you went with the correct pronunciation. Good job. My buddy plays a similar deck, but with Renekton and he does use the lucky find cards, but not just for sivir, but to give quick attack to Renekton or ruin runner for flurry of blows. Just thoughts,. Which brings us to a final question, why run Deny over Rite of Negation? Or 2/1 between them?

Hey Mogwai, just a suggestion. During your intro, instead of saying Legends of Runeterra or LOR, you can just say Runeterra. The ricochet can hit the nexus and enemies at the same time. How the effect applies would be like if it said, can hit enemy units and/or the enemy nexus. But they have not used things like and/or in card text.

Mog, what would you think of Zilean being "every round start you predict"? I personally think he'll be based on predictions and a mid-late game card that provides value with massive utility. The game just got the predict package which is amazing for interacting with the usually "uninteractable" card draw and made a bunch of decks much less luck-based.

Hey mogwai, you wondered how Ricochet (6mana spell) exactly works. It's pretty much the same as Riptide rex. It always hit 5 times no matter how many units there are. But just like rex it might not hit the nexus at all even if the opp has eg only 3 units, instead it hit targets multiple times. But it only hits as targets as often as it needs to kill them, so 1 hp unit max. 1 time.

17:34. You could have hit Nexus. The spells rolls 5 separate 1 damage pings that can hit a unit or the Nexus. You just happened to hit Ashe and the Sentry once and the Marauders 3 times. It was definitely the right play. What I don’t remember is if the spell checks to see if a unit dies in between pings. I don’t think it does, which, if true, means a 1 health unit can absorb multiple pings. Someone more knowledgeable should definitely correct me if I am wrong.

Ricochet works like a 5 dmg Make it Rain. It can hit the nexus, only difference is it didn't tell you the targets while in the stack. So it is truly random

Sivir's Ricochet should be able to hit both nexus and enemy minion, I'm fairly sure I've used it in combat to deal damage to both nexus and minions at the same time.

17:20 - Actually, you could have hit the Nexus. It's one hundred percent random. It hits 1 damage 5 times, targeted randomly. Technically your opponent can have a full board and you can still hit the Nexus 5 times and the creatures 0. of course the chance of that happening is next to impossible, but it CAN happen. I know because I won clutch games like that in expeditions and Lab of Legends.

Me already having created this type of deck with the same champions and flurry of fists but the main difference was i added a lot of buffing Iona units and the deck was just buffing up siver and zed while protecting them with Iona cards I am literally not lying and it is just funny to me if you don´t believe me that is fine though
