I’m just so fascinated by prehistoric life, it’s just so much more interesting than stuff today. If only those six extinction events hadn’t happened

I'm jealous of the PHD students. I wish I could have finished school and received a proper education. I grew up in the south in very religious area. Education was not held in high priority. I don't even recall learning about evolution in public school. I was kicked out when I was 15. I was told I would not be sent off if I just stayed home and didn't return to school. We didn't have a properly funded school system. It was very religious conservative area. They didn't even want to teach children about sexual reproduction. I feel like I was cheated out of a proper education and a shot at a better life. Lucky for me I studied on my own and now my children will all have proper educations.
