Six Flags Astroworld 2004

Grew up in Beaumont...many road trips to Houston to go to Astroworld then moved to Houston after college and I dird a little when Astroworld closed. I remember the alpine sleigh ride being my favorite as a kid, but of course Texas Cyclone as an adult. Rode Greased Lightning 7 times in a row without getting off one time on a week day evening about an hour before they closed. The first few times they made us get off and walk around but there was never any line so they just kept letting us ride till the park closed

I was 15 when I went for the couple last times they should have never ever ever taken 6 Flags away. The only best thing in Houston.

Whoever closed Astroworld is a, well, I don't want to swear here. So I won't. I loved Astroworld. To me, it was the greatest theme park, ever. To me, it always will be. No other theme park can ever be greater and better than Astroworld. Only one has come close. That's Six Flags Fiesta Texas. They still havea long way to go.
