@@typehere6689 i hope for the next update, there are new secondarys, and the gunner has a micro one shot 50 cal or something, that pierces, but one mag size, and 5 max bullets, it could have a over clock called “one shot one chill”, where 50% of damage is converted into freeze.

This is what happens when I challenge scout overhypers in a game First they start pumping all thier weapons killing things before me but pretty quickly as the horde increases they DIE not even escape just die and I have to crowd control the entire thing

when i first got carpet bomber i equipped it on my autocannon and we went into a dreadnought mission. it genuinely felt like i was shooting the dreadnoughts with a water gun

Use fear wherever possible, it makes bugs run away from you back into the line of fire. It’s a must on any autocannon build because you can shoot at your feet and get the bugs off you. Just remember to bhop when you do it.

I've actually taken to using your Dreadnought killing Minigun with the electro minelets BRRT, so that you can lay down some lines of slowdown before tearing the swarm to shreds. You don't really need that much damage on both the revolver and the minigun.

9:00 I didn't know my good ol' 1 IQ "unga bunga damage" setup was a build lmao Gotta say, best part of Elephant Rounds with dmg-focus mod conf is using it on Critical Weakness missions. I once went into an elimination mission that had Critical Weakness and that thing was a fucking handheld RAILGUN on the weakpoints. I even felt bad about the bugs. But then I punched myself on the nose.

I know you said blowthrough rounds for the magic bullet bulldog, but I would highly recommend explosive rounds instead. If you aim at the ground next to your target then the first shot will cause an explosion that hits everything within the blast radius that will also poison everything and ricochet into the target to cause a second explosion that has a tendency to kill grunts and trash in about 2 rounds. I use A, C, B, A, B with it for maximum ammo to turn it into a pocket autocannon.

Burning Hell, Bullet Hell, Electro Minelets, Neurotoxin, etc. Some of my favorites. Within the listed builds you can argue they aren't the most efficient/effective build but that really misses the point. They're such fun to play around with. Making a build based on a theme/playstyle and seeing how far you can push it. It's really satisfying. Case in point, Bullet Hell. Compared to my try hard minigun builds, it just doesn't last. But clearing those swarmers or seeing my team far down a hall way firing over a hill or around acorner. I don't have to run over to help, I just immediately fire in the wall above/beside them and assist with damage and stun. That still hasn't gotten old.

Dude thats exactly what I was thinking here too. Making a nice, efficient build is alright but it can get stale very quickly. Going all in on a theme with some very noticeable quirks is really fun. You might not be amazing at every task but what you are good at you excel at, like the swarmer clearing on the Bullet Hell OC. I feel like with hazard 5 you get to a point where being a generalist falls off because a lot of the dangers are pronounced. I have a better time doing all I can to mitigate one central problem rather than trying to fix them all half-way. Plus I'll never get tired of being able to shoot at a wall and hit things still lol

Thats the goal! I wanted to see how diverse I could make them so they would use a variety of overclocks rather than just saying you should roll or one or two of the best ones.

I've found that for big bertha, min-maxing direct damage isn't great for a generalist build, and instead going for dps lets you more consistently shred bugs of all kinds. 33111 gives you the ammo to work with on your everything-gun, along with the responsiveness and fire-rate needed to fill that role. Since the increased fire-rate will burn through your mag more often, a more ammo-heavy brt is needed to keep up with reloads, and I find a 23231 Compact Mags is a reliable enough sidearm for most situations, with shields covering the worst of the rest (the dash perk helps with creating distance as well for reloads, but is optional). While your mag lasts, you have enough dps to rival several minigun builds, while also having enough aoe and armor breaking to deal with praetorians, cronars, mactera, and dreadnoughts. When that mag empties, you can swap to the brt for spitters of all kinds, or for stunning bugs until born ready procs and big bertha can return to shredding the horde.

I can’t see taking Big Bertha and giving up 220 additional ammo for 3 extra single target damage when we’re talking the difference between 33 damage and 30 damage. The extra ammo is too good when the OC takes so much ammo away.

I do agree that some OCs like this definitely need some tweaking to make then much more worth it. I mostly just use them to see how I can make them work when it comes to stuff like this.

Your first build is fun. I switch it up a little and switch to stun instead of blow through and fire bullets instead of kill cooling with the bullet hell OC. I have to say it's alot of fun watching fiery bouncing bullets eat up swarms and i love it on Ice maps. It also have great and outstanding synergy with a subata fire bullets Driller and IFG Mercy Bullets scout.

I always thought 'combat mobility' for the autocannon was underrated. It basically makes it into a giant assault rifle. Not very good on ammo efficiency, but who needs that.

About your minigun heat build, I personally find the first mod in the first slot to actually be better for it. It doubles cooling speed and makes cooling near instant, so you can go very on and off with your minigun with smaller delayed between burst, though it still takes a few seconds, so personally I use the faster spin up time in mod slot 4 to help get to max accuracy faster

I can see your point there! I think the reason I prefer the mods I chose is because I tend to burst fire at high heat to keep it above 50% but avoid full RoF unless I really need it. Lets me ignite many different bugs.

So I just got the Bullet Hell AND Magic Bullets OC's, and brought a version of your 1st build to a Haz 4 Egg Hunt with Swarmageddon and BY KARL it saved our assess. 4 players and a double trigger swarm saw all of us go do down a minimum of 3 times each, but just hanging off a zip line and firing in the general direction of targets allowed me to delete the stupidly large number of swarmers. 480 kills, with only the Cryo Driller getting above 120 (350, but he was really good) is a good testament to its usefulness against large numbers of weak enemies. Safe to say it now has a permanent home in my loatout slots, so thanks for the build

If you do a tight spread, 3 round burst with quick time between bursts, Micro Flechets is actually not bad at all. It's a nice quick stun you can pull put and also accurate enough to take our ceiling threats.

3:17 I noticed you chose mitigation for your final upgrade here rather than damage. Is this because the damage upgrade doesn’t apply to AoE damage or does it still apply but you just wanted to go with mitigation anyway? I ask because I heard a rumor that the damage upgrade only applies to bullet damage and not AoE but I’m not sure if that’s true. I’m trying to figure out if this is the case.

That's the way I understand it. I wanted that autocannon to be at its best at max fire rate so the mitigation was there to support that. I will say that the damage may help with praetorians and the like so it would be good either way.

I feel like fear is best, you have 2 chances to apply it (one from direct hit and from splash) and can turn many swarms right back and completely scatter them. Praetorians turn around so you can burst fire them, and I feel that is better than 20% damage or damage resist. (Also, I heard from Synecourt that the 20% bonus also applies to splash, but I guess it may be patched now).

Taking extra damage instead of ammo on the bulldog is generally bad. 60 damage is perfect. With the weakpoint bonus perk you can single shot: > grunts (head/no armour) > webspitters (anywhere) >acid spitters (headshot) > macterra spawn (weakpoint) The only thing that the +10 or +20 damage gives you is slasher headshots to my knowledge. So if you want to exclusively use bulldog as a rare use on pretorians and huge bugs, take damage it's fine. Generally though, pulling bulldog out to yeehaw macterra spawn and spitters on the ceilings is far better. Ammo also gives you the bonuses of higher potiental damage in a mission (on paper) and more consistency with leeway to miss/spam more often (more ammo from resupply and bigger reserves to mash through). I always take double ammo and weakpoints; but I only usually run homebrew, six shooter, and volatile bullets. I can see elephant rounds being niche for capitializing on big base damage, but the max ammo hit for using the OC warrants specing for ammo to compensate.

When are you going to make another one of these with hurricane and coil gun? I perform the best with AoE hurricane with overtuned feed mech OC. Paired with dmg+weakpoint brt with composite casings OC. (Limited OC options) The coil gun is really fun to use but im having a hard time pairing it with anything and still feeling strong on haz5

I've actually got a Hurricane video 90% done as we speak so look for that in the very near future. I cover the Hurricane and it's combinations with the original two secondaries. I'll be doing a whole video for the Coil Gun in similar fashion. So far for the coil gun, I've found it's true use to be in different forms of crowd control, unless the oc is built specifically for single target damage like The Mole. It's great for quickly turning the tides when you're surrounded and overwhelmed, especially with the fear mod.

I guess my main issue when using it is that i struggle to kill praetorian and above without feeling like im wasting a lot of ammo compared to dumping a mag of brt + power attack. @@morioh6623 yeah, especially with Hellfire, your dps is not extremely high for larger targets, that OC is much better at clearing groups of small targets with less expense. I highly recommend it for rival presence missions, for turrets, shredders and even patrol bots if you can catch them when they hover still for missile attacks.

The framework is called Neon Band and you can get it from supply crates in missions, as for the skin, it's called Dark Future and it's part of the Dark Future Cosmetic DLC

I would not appreciate gunners with heat builds to run into frozen swarms as a driller, because cryo drillers often use vampyrism to heal back their HP. By temp shocking those swarms you effectively deny your driller teammate from healing back its HP. Driller can take out frozen hordes by himself just fine with his drills.

I'm aware that elemental buds can clash in this way, I feel like temp shock was the devs trying to alleviate that to a degree. In a perfect team people would back off and let people do what they want but in reality a lot of the dynamic of team play also include adjusting to what others are doing even if it clashes with your current play style. I always adopt an attitude of opportunism when playing with people. I'll heal on frozen bugs butnif I've got a gunner who's temp shocking things, playing into that and cooperating can yield even better results, even if they're not aware youre doing it. Same goes in reverse though. People should try to recognize stuff like a Driller using frozen targets to heal but sometimes it just happens that you mess up elemental stuff when in close quarters. Best thing to do is discuss it with your team if you want them to back off but regardless, going with thr flow and focusing other groups of bugs can be effect if you're trying to do something specific.

Spicy gunner Lead storm, Burning hell OC Bulldog, Volatile Bullets OC (dmg priority + hollow point) Grenade, Napalm (ignite giant hostile quickly) I once killed a haz 4 bulk in five shots using this. Napalmed it, then shot each weak point. (I missed twice.)

I use :Lead Storm overclock build as my primary build. I don't need to stun bugs, I need to kill them. I can finally do it without having to run away all over the cave.

I understand the sentiment but I do still very much like stuns. Haz 5 bugs are so fast that a swarm can, on average, usually overwhelm me if my team and I arent combining fire on one group. The stuns are there to give you breathing room when swamped with bugs and allow you a precious few seconds to relocate if things get too bad.

@@siirvend Can't overwhelm you if they are dead. The fact that I can't walk around doesn't change anything. Jumping allows you to move faster than just walking, so I've been doing that all the time anyway.

Honestly, now this is me, but when i use bullet hell i use no. 2 on the third row to maximize stun, disabling most smaller enemies.

These main weapon builds are very good, and so are the sidearm builds, but I question the pairing of the two. For example, you're built for dealing with swarms if you're using Carpet Bomber on your Autocannon. -- There's little reason to also build your Bulldog for swarms. Running Elephant Rounds instead makes you able also deal with tougher enemies.

Thank you! I will admit I've moved a few of the sidearm around since the making of this video. I personally tend to like my sidearm to compliment the job my primary is doing. In the case of the carpet bomber and the lead spray BRT7 I wanted one to be a burst dps while other was general trash clear.

@@siirvend Re-watching it, I see I was mistaken. Scrubbing through the video made me pair your builds incorrectly together. It so happens that we've got the exact same six primary weapon builds. For OCs at least. Some mods are chosen differently. Glad to finally see someone appreciate Bullet Hell for the Minigun. Bullet Hell and Carpet Bomber are my go-to OCs. For sidearms I almost always run the Bulldog with Elephant Rounds. Being able to quickly snipe Spitballers, Brood Nexus' eyes, Breeders, Wardens, Menaces, Goo Bombers and key targets in general, makes up for what Bullet Hell and Carpet Bomber lacks -- dmg against large targets. Lead Spray on the BRT does the best burst dmg in the game against large targets, but it's appliance is so niche. You sacrifice the sniping capability of the Bulldog to gain the most burst possible at point-blank range.

Unfortunately no, but using the tier 5 mod for longer bursts in tandem with the shorter delay between bursts can get it just about there

I do enjoy shield boost since you're usually hanging around a teammate. Friendly is a good option if you bring your minigun has the potential to melt dwarves unlucky enough to be caught in it on high hazards. Veteran depositer is also good since the damage reduction near molly means you can set up near her and lay down the hurt for longer.

I use the carpet bomber on dreadnought bc it doesn't matter where i shoot on the dread, I will do damage. Also it makes hiveguards a joke.

What praetorians good at resisting is stun. You cannot apply stun to praetorian twice in a row. Duration of stun on them is reduced. Fear from autocannon is much more effective against them. Personally i dislike most of the builds, due to many pointless decisions in mods or\and primary\secondary combination, but whatewer.

All good man. They're just builds I like to use, not fully optimized by any means. The stun wasn't meant as saying its better than fear but it is more reliable for me when combined with the zappy bullets.

My suggestion for future videos. Make them like "Gunner build to fight big enemies" "The gunner build you need to rekt a dreadnought" And similar, even if it's a short 2 min video it would rank up more views. People nowadays see 7+ min and are like "nah I have more important stuff to do" and go back into watching instagram porn.
