i don’t think so, if you pay attention when Gi-Hun failed his fifth juggle, he saved him in order for them to pass, because he wanted them to pass so gi-hun could try and attack the soldiers in order to stop his attempt and broke him even more (SPOILERS : by killing his close friend)

The team could have stayed in the first or second game for five minutes and he might never have gotten his turn to play. Yes, the Leader's intention is to break Gi-hun's morale, but the possibility of winning or losing in this game didn't depend on him alone. When it was the Leader's turn, he saw that they had plenty of time so he wanted to provoke Gi-hun by messing up his own turn, but it didn't work so he decided to win it already and then help Gi-hun with his game. That's why it makes more sense that they left the Leader's team to last in case they don't win, so the guards could leave the Leader alive, kill the rest and he could go back to his post without witnesses. Killing Jung-bae was one of his intentions after this game, when he heard the friendly conversation Gi-hun and Jung-bae were having. He realized at that moment that as long as Jung-bae was still with Gi-hun, he wouldn't be able to break his morale so easily.

My favourite part isn't in this video but omg. When they first start this game Jung-bae notices something and tells In-ho: "With the spinning top, it'll take longer if you mess up." And the death glare from In-ho gets me every time!! That's why you died Jung-bae 😅

That's what I thought. The frontman was probably planning to sabotage the team, and if they lost, everyone would die except for him. Since they are last and wouldn't be any witnesses, the plan would work perfectly well. However there are 2 problems with this. 1. They can just shoot everyone then and there , 2. If he intended to sabotage the team, then why get it right at the 4th attempt ?

@@christianrowbotham7386 could’ve, but considering he didn’t shoot Gi-Hun at the end, which he fully well could’ve, I don’t think he wanted to kill them. I feel like he was messing up by accident and the fourth attempt was just luck. And with the left hand, I think he’s more ambidextrous since we seen him doing things with his right hand plenty of times (grabbing the phone, shooting people, etc), so that’s why when he switched over to his left hand it worked

@taylorlipinski4048 or perhaps he was messing out intentionally to test the team, he wanted to see if they would blame him or help him instead. The prior 001 did the same thing during the marble games. Perhaps after the protagonist tried to help him instead of shouting at him for messing up, then he would pass some sort of test, and he got the 4th attempt right in return.
