This video follows the painting and detailing of a 3D printed figure of the Six Million Dollar Man. The figure was created on my Saturn 8K Elegoo printer using files from WeMakeMonsters on CGTrader.com. The video concludes with a final reveal of the figure along with a quick look at my new 8K printer set up.

Nice work, Oggie! This one brought back a lot of memories for me, especially watching the Six Million Dollar Man adventures with my doll... err... action figure wearing that iconic jumpsuit. All that's missing is that goofy patch the toy had on his chest - something I'm tempted to add to my model kit when I get to it. Six Million Dollars probably wouldn't begin to pay just the taxes on rebuilding Mr. Austin today. Thanks for sharing your build!

That's a great looking figure Oggie! Nice job. And yes, I too was hooked on both the Six Million Dollar Man and The Wild, Wild West series. I got into Star Trek a bit later. My guilty after school viewing was often Ultraman and Johnny Sokko. So corny now, but back then they were great.

Love your stuff. Fond memories of $6M. Ill check out the other kits. For gaps i started using 'plastic wood filler' from the hardware store. Tube is 8 bucks, dries fast, easily sandable, and little odor. Keep it up the great work

Another fabulous result Oggie. Like you I loved Steve Austin and was always trying to run at super speed but in slow motion😂 I’ve just done my first 3D figure of Gort the robot from The day the earth stood still. Very impressed with this method of model making. Up next is Minaton from Sinbad and the eye of the tiger so excited to get cracking on that! Keep doing what you do my friend 👊🏻

Great job, Oggie. I'll have to give these a go at some point. You mentioned printing your model solid and I'm not sure which slicing software you use, but in Chitubox, under the hollow tab there is a setting called Grid3D and when selected, it replaces the standard mess of supports with intersecting supports for the internal area of the model. I've been using this setting for all of my prints and it's really helped save resin and speed up completion time. Give it a go. Cheers - Virgil

Hey Oogie, great job. Say I have some sculpts from this guy as well, and what you could do instead of all that epoxie Sculpt is to trim the pegs going into the sockets. I found they are longer than they needed to be and if you nip maybe a 1/8 inch off the leg it helps with the fit.

That looks Fantastic , I really like that shadow technique you used. . Can't wait to see your line up for Wonderfest and wondering your mode of transporting the models there. BTW I use a fluorescent paint to brighten a color ,Vallejo has fluorescent line in their Mecha collection . I discovered this doing work for Disney and all their call outs were Pantone colors.

We can rebuild him... Better...Stronger...Faster. I loved the Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman! Just recently watched both series in their entirety. You did another fantastic job on this. I've never been good at painting figures so this is awesome work. What brand of grinding tool do you have? I'm sorry if you've answered this question before. I need a smaller tool like that where my Dremel is too big.

Great video! Could you showcase the other models of the same designer which you have purchased? Doesn't need to be a detailed video for each model but rather a bundle review so one can asses the accuracy of the designs and how much artisitc freedom the sculptor did take. Did you purchase and print any of the universal monsters? Keep up the great work!

That really is a good likeness of Lee Majors and the 8K version is much more detailed. Are you going do more characters of the show, ie Oscar, Jaime or Bigfoot?. I'd like so see you painting the Bigfoot at least and the likenesses of Jaime and Oscar are good.

The dont look red in the intro....but they do look dark blue! Thanks for pointing that out. In one shot he's on the treadmill and those shoes definitely look a light blue but his sweats are dark blue. In the segment of him running with the red suit, it does appear that they're dark blue! Will have to see if I can find some other reference photos. He's running too fast LOL.
