I'm not one to comment on KZbin videos, but I wanted to express my thanks to you for sharing your love of stationery and journaling! Every Sunday for the last several months now, there is nothing I love more than sitting down with a cup of tea with you, and planning my week ahead in my Avec from Perth, Australia. In the most wonderful coincidence, I'm flying to England this week and thanks to you I've got so many wonderful stationery and cafe spots to visit! I can't wait to join the Common Corner from your neck of the woods next week. 💌

Ah I remember being so excited when I read this comment. But it seems I have forgotten to respond! ❤️🩹 Your words are so sweet. Thank you for joining me every Sunday. And I'd love to hear how your trip to England was! :)

Absolutely loved this, the way you answer these questions is so eloquent. I am so glad your partner is supportive and asks you about it, my family just think I live surrounded by cat stickers. And you are welcome for me putting you in a pickle!! 😂

Gladly enjoyed both videos to just relax and chill in between night shifts. Fantastic to hear how your system works for you and that you have (almost) no desire to try out other systems. I think there is something to say about staying in one system and letting it evolve with you!

I really admire your desire for a slow(er) life, especially when the world so often encourages unhealthy productivity. Love your commitment to minimal supplies and having our books work for us! Definitely a reminder I needed! ❤

Thank you for these words~ my desire arose from experiencing the negative results on my mental health after years of striving to be over-productive. Now is the time to live life simply! 🌾❤️

I absolutely adore your videos and I really enjoyed listening to you talk about how the book works for you and it’s a companion to your busy life. Im in a really busy season also and I definitely think I’ve been trying to make myself fit my cousin and not the other way around. My goal for the rest of 2024 is to love my book as much as you love yours!

🥹🥹 I have no words. Thank you!! I hope your journey of loving your book is going well ~ :) 🍀

I've got that same stubbornness. It's partly led by how satisfying it is to have stuck with a system for a whole year and being able to look through it. It's so exciting your partner is giving hobonichi a go!

Thank you for sharing your story about your journaling..recording life through to keeping a commonplace book. It’s encouraging and kind of you to share the way your recording has evolved. I’ve kept a few of my old journals/planners and I loved them. 🐇🖤

I am glad you can see the evolvement with me! It is a good feeling to go back to these old journals/planners and see how different life is now ❤️🩹

I also did the full IB program at my HS in the States. It was alottttt for me but I made it through and even started college with some credits from it. 🎉🎉

Ohh well done!! 🎉So you truly get me on how challenging the program is~ but we come out of it having learned a lot (about academia and ourselves)~🍀

Thank you for sharing so much in these video's, it feels like I got to know you a bit more! I'm glad to be part of the Common Corner family, you feel like my journaling sister, which may sound a bit weird because I'm just a name on the internet to you, haha. I'd be glad to become a member of your patreon should you ever decide to set it up one day. Is it okay if I ask you a late question here? How was it to write in your previous avec when it was all fluffed up by all the pictures, stickers, etc. in the end?

Hello~ apologies for the late response. I saw this comment just now and really wanted to get back to you! I hope you see this :) I am so glad to have you in this common corner family~ Id love to be your journal sister! My heart swelled up when I read that 😄🥰 Thank you for the encouragement on my idea about Patreon~ I have been thinking of it more and more these days~ let's see! Thank you for your question. I was very excited to move into the new Avec by the end. Writing on the right side was totally okay, but the left side was tricky...especially when writing towards the middle of the book where the curve of the page was intense due to the bulk on the left side! Due to this reason I am scared of what a normal cousin would look like in my use by the end of the year...! But it was not too too bad, perhaps the last week was when I struggled the most, but then it was already time to switch into the new book :) Can I ask what system you use? Thanks again for your comment ❣️

@@TheCommonCorner I hoped you would read my comment, but I did not expect a reply, let alone such an elaborate one! Thanks for the nice surprise 😊 I just started journaling in June with a loose TN insert. It's size seemed less daunting than an A5 and of course, they are a lot thinner than the Hobonichi's. I noticed that I missed some structure, so I switched to a Hobonichi A5 day-free in August (which I dated myself) to mimic the Avec. Turns out that I have more than enough to write about and to stick in to fill the pages😂 Depending on how fluffy it will get I will get the Avecs for the new year. In addition I've been using the Weeks for my academic planning for a year now. Thanks for being a journaling sister to us all🖋️ See you in your next video!
