Oh Jesse, I just finished Six of Crows like 10 minutes ago and my head is reeling with how GOSH DARN GOOD it was. Nina is an absolute GODDESS QUEEN SLAY. One of my favourite moments was when Nina was laying down, and was crying and asking Matthias to stay with her til the end and he goes "and after" "and always" MY HEART MY HEART just the amount of crap those two have been through, to come to that moment was just too much.

I loved Six of Crows so so so much. It was so good. I was hesitant to read it since I wasn't too impressed by the Grisha trilogy, this duology was INCREDIBLE. It was so good. Injei is my queen. Remember the first scene we saw Kaz? How Kaz negotiated the deal? (with whom I can't remember. Probably Per Haskell's men?)And then exposed the traitor? The whole time he knew who the traitor was and he didn't just react and waited for the final moment to come. That's when I fell for Kaz. Since then, Kaz never ceased to amaze me. ❤️ And I love Inej, Jesper, Wylan, Nina , Matthias all equally. But unfortunately the first place is reserved for Kaz.

i was visiting mom for Christmas last year, she allowed me to buy only one book for that Christmas, i saw this book and another one i was torn between those two and I'm glad i choosen this one. I spent cold winter sitting next to fire place reading this book and i couldn't put it down. When i finished it i was already at home, my godmother bought me few books for Christmas as well but i couldn't read any other book i needed to get my hands on the Crooked Kingdom book, i went to bookstore with small hopes of finding it, went to English section first (most books start in English and get translated like 3 months after) i didn't found it was disappointed as i was leaving i saw it. Freshly printed still smelling of the fresh printing paint i bought very first book of the pile! I was extremely exited loved the whole story. This was the first time reading any books from this author and her writing is perfect i fell in love with all the characters and their life's and stories, most duologies have first or second book lack and they aren't it. But this duology did not disappoint. If there was more books i would buy them all 😩

I just finished reading Six of Crows a couple days ago and I was immediately left craving more so I went and bought Shadow and Bone the very next day. ITS AMAZING. I can already see how reading these books before reading Six of Crows would help because when I started reading Six of Crows I was TERRIBLY lost and had no idea how the world worked or what the hell was going on. But with Shadow and Bone, it's definitely a more gentle introduction to the world and its much easier to grasp for someone who is new to the Grishaverse. So in my opinion, it definitely wouldn't hurt to read the trilogy first but no, you don't have to. (I still recommend that you should read the others too because oh my lordy it's amazing, and it's also helping ease the pain of waiting for Crooked Kingdom) :-)))))

I can’t be the only one who thought that Jesper has ADHD, right? I haven’t read the second book yet (I literally just read the first one) but in the first book, there are so many tells for me. He is seen as the “energetic one” from the group and when you are reading from his perspective, he is constantly jumping from thought to thought. He also makes comments about how he can never pay attention to the right thing, and he is not known for being punctual. Another thing that stood out to me was when he would talk about liking gunfights because surviving was the only thing he had to focus on. It’s really common for people with ADHD to like certain activities purely because they give a large rush of serotonin and dopamine because it dedicated all of their focus to it (most people don’t feel that way about gun fights but ya know, to each their own). He is also seen responding sometimes overly emotionally to situations and he seems to have a hard time regulating his focus. Anyways, these are just the things that stood out to me, a person with ADHD, while reading the story. Did anyone else think this too?

My favourite part was when the ferolind was attacked and inej was stabbed under the arm. When she was going to stab herself but then Kaz came to rescue her.. it was so heartwarming

I just read this book and loved it. Getting to know the characters and their past and why they are the way they are and how they got to where they are made it a great story. I can't wait for the next one.

I just finished this book! For the first half, I could not decide if I liked it or not, but by the time I finished the last page, I needed the sequel immediately (unfortunately I have to wait until Christmas but that's really soon so I'm not too worried). I loved Kaz and Inej, but I could not get behind Matthias, especially the romance between him and Nina. Matthias just rubbed me wrong for most of the book and a lot of the times I wanted to skip his chapters. It's still bothering me that it's called Six of Crows, but we only get five POV crow characters, and Jesper's chapters always felt like they were lacking. I really wanted more from Jepser (as he was one of my favorites) and to even hear from Wylan even once. I'm hoping he gets at least something in the next book?

The writing was absolutely wonderful. Bardugo is one of my favorite authors. If you are looking for a nice fantasy that isn't too difficult to get into and with characters that you will fall in love with, I recommend this book. Thanks

I've just started reading six of crows, I feel like it's a little hard to keep up with because there are so many POV's and characters to learn the names of and also the language but I'm sure I'll love this book just like everybody else seems too :D

Dude... this is actually the VERY FIRST time I’ve clicked out of a book review video because this time around I DONT wanna be spoiled 😂 I’ve had the Six of Crows Duology in my TBR list for a few months now but I’ve not gotten around to reading it yet. But i’m so excited for when I do start it because about 95% of book reviews I’ve seen have been immensely positive 😆😆😆😆😆
