I am following your shred programme- from body building website. Question- I start work at 8am so I go to gym around 5am but empty stomach becuase i dont feel like to eat that time. What can i eat that early because i am pressed for time in the morning. I am sad that I am doing it wrong from last 5 weeks 😥😥😥

Hi chris this is raj You emphasis on having 6-7 short meals everyday but i do not have the luxury as i am currently doing my internship and i cannot cook my food or even eat during the office hours So is intermittent fasting ok in this situation ? And secondly what do you think of 2-3 times of steady state jog and 1-2 times of hiit per week Given that i gym 4-5 times a week having a day for shoulders back chest arms and legs ? And lastly i can only do cardio in the evening so is it better after gym or before The thing with post workout cardio is its done after a protein shake which dilutes my body and while running i feel uneasy Im sorry for the long list of questions I gotta tell ya i follow like many many fitness pros in social media but u are the best and u r some one who i idolise

Kris, been following you for years now and had great results. When doing cardio after workout does it matter the if I put the resistance level all the way up on the elliptical. I follow your rule that I can still have a conversation while performing and I feel like a I have a great cardio sessions but when I finish I burn around 280-300 calorie most time even more. Is this too much? Should I do cardio with no resistance or does it matter?
@ThatGoodBarbequ8 жыл бұрын
I'm no Kris but I would say what matters more in that situation is your heart rate rather than your "calories burned." Kris talks about it in the 4 Weeks 2 Shred program he has
@krisgethin11898 жыл бұрын

Hey Kris! i was wondering if you could post a video or an article on Intermittent Fasting. Also while fasting its best to do cardio after you have had food?
@Teivian8 жыл бұрын
Kris, then when would you suggest intervals to be done? How about switching it up with intervals a day and then steady state another day (after weight lifting that is)?
@krisgethin11898 жыл бұрын
Steady state on training days and when the goal is shredding, intervals can be done on non-training days or when the goals is more muscle building

Most of this I agree with and make sense but I don’t agree with 30 g or less per meal for protein that your body can absorb. I know some tests show that but I don’t believe it and I know other people who applied 50, 70 sometimes 100 g of protein and it’s fine but to each his own
