Six Samurai: 9-0 Winstreak! Optimal Build for New Meta! (Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel)

This video contains a newly optimised version of my previous Six Samurai deck lists, containing improved ratios and combos to ensure higher levels of consistency. Additionally, the deck achieved a 9-0 winstreak before losing to a stun deck list. The deck is also improved at going both 1st and 2nd due to the ability to play through multiple negates. All duels were recorded in the April 2024 ranked season of Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel. Enjoy!

Shadow Shien or the revival spells usually deals with Nibiru. Shadow Shien is probably the main counter to it though. You can revive it from the GY with Gateway's 3rd effect

A couple deck building decision questions for you. Did you cut united to play around not drawing any six sams>invoker gets negated? Is there a reason you prefer building negates over handlooping? You can very easily make 2 trish> enterblathnir>emeral back trish>2 more trish>make baronne within the time limit Im a huge fan of the archetype and went 6-2 a couple times during MBT's MCS using it. Im always looking for ways to improve the deck. During Purrely format I ran 1 gadarla, 3 maxx c and the terrortop line with small world. Any earth or wind allowed me to bridge to terrortop(who was at one at the time) and if i drew combo/had to play into big noir i could bring out the Gadarla while keeping non engine as small as possible. Do you often test small world with new techs?

1) Correct. I do like Six Samurai United, but with fewer Six Samurai monsters in the main deck (and Droll being prominent) it made more sense to cut it than keep it 2) Hand looping with Trishula is a close 2nd best way to play the deck. I personally don't play it though as it takes a really long time and the opponents usually quit before I can finish (which is bad for optimising my time for content)

You definitely can! I prefer the LVL 3 fusion as it synergies with Speedroid Engine, Hatsume, and even Ash Blossom to help make MX Saber Invoker though

No idea! When they summoned DPE, I think it was obvious I was trying to play around it destroying Gateway. They probably panicked a little from not knowing what Six Samurai does
