I took lessons from D'Arcy back in 2002-2003. I was too young to appreciate it at the time, but I've been listening to Dust and Loneliness lately, and really enjoying it. So glad to see his still making music.

Hey D'arcy, many thanks for the tutorial. I've watched many KZbin tutorials on Travis picking, but I found yours particularly useful and easier to grasp. You seem to approach the technique from a slightly different angle. I learned a great deal from this video, which is perhaps the biggest compliment that can be given. Thank you again. Greetings from Scotland 👍

Nice to see D'Arcy is still playing and teaching. I took lessons from him years ago on T.O.

thank you for the fingerpicking patterns. Because of finger stiffening issues, I am transferring these patterns into piano arpeggios. The guitar sounds on the keyboard are getting better and these patterns will surely bring back a lot of enjoyment. tnx Ed

Brilliant at conveying the basics in a no frills manner. Loving this lesson. My favorite on finger style. Pity there aren't more videos or an online course. I would have definitely considered signing up.

This was a great lesson and easy to follow because of the teaching techniques that were used. Great use of visual aids that are explained in a slow and methodic pattern. Excellent for a beginner!
