I am more than 2 years out...your six things you have learned resonate with me. Yes, I am content with a simple life. My friends as my support, new friends made in my support group, nature encounters are so important now. Yes, I need to focus on Dan's living and not on his dying. Thank you. You have helped me so much.

Wow, Karen, you are absolutely spot on, my husband has been gone 4 months now 😢 and I have and am going through most of what you have talked about. It feels very reassuring that these feelings, emotions and experiences are perfectly normal as a response to such a close loss. 4 years ago I lost my mother, 2 years ago I lost my father and now Bill has gone. I feel exhausted and just take it a day at a time. Many thanks for sharing and caring for this podcast has definitely been a God sent for me, I remember kind off feeling as if I was becoming emotionally drained and mentally unhinged, thinking I was heading for a Mental breakdown but after coming across your podcast I feel normal and relieved 🌹🙏🏽

My wife of 50 yrs. Passed 3 yrs ago It's still really hard being alone and no one to share memories with. Or to hold hands with like I did everywhere we went together.. Someone to talk to every day..

I appreciate you Karen! Your honest heart is wonderful. I’ve discovered that I can pack and go in 15 minutes. Each person will make those discoveries in time. It was over 5 years before those kind of thoughts dawned on me.
