The liturgy went from beautiful and meaningful to garbage.

I would point to: Unity in Worship (hymnal, more musically literate and able to play instruments, reverent piety ( no chitchat in the sanctuary, wearing “Sunday best”, first fruit offerings) 2. Technology in worship (sort of good and bad depending, especially the over reliance on tech) 3. Changes to the Sacrament of the Altar (no more announcing in advance; yes, individual cups; also the “menu”, there was no alternate menu options (grape juice, reprocessed “wine” ( cooked or reverse osmosis to remove most (but not all alcohol), potato chip wafers, falafel ingredient crackers, or goldfish crackers), reverence for “leftovers” (throwing Jesus in the trash and mixing of consecrated and unconsecrated elements) 4. Robust catechesis (now we have parents complaining about memorizing Bible verses, the Small Catechism, and fewer are learning hymns; the public examinations are fewer & easier) 5. Confusion in the responsibilities of a pastor and laity ( we respect the pastors less, focus them more as a manager or entertainer, and ask laity to do more teaching, Communion, even “counseling”) 6. A lower value on Lutheran Education (the church school ratio is lower than ever, our NLSA standards are reduced to an LCMS cross and the Christian flag in wax classroom, and we are producing fewer pastors, teachers, and musicians needed for sustaining what we have, let alone grow.)

The heretic allowed to pen an essay in the latest Large Cathechism, the Marxist content of some of them, and the Synod leadership's attack of all but non-existenct right wing conspiracies is a tell. Even YT discernment celeb Rosebrough and Boomers Extraordinaire Issues, Etc. helped circle the wagons.
