This song hits me right in the gut. Three years ago I found the courage to leave a violent marriage of 27 years. My 23 yr old Son came with me. We just road tripped for 2 months and Six60 were always on the cd player. Life is now good but will never forget those days. Would love to go to a Six60 concert with him. Many memories of new beginings.

honestly nz is one the best countries in the world, its tiny and quiet but theres enough of everything. people see it as boring cos its small but the diversity is amazing, the vibe, the pride, the girls, the moari's, the gangs, the punks, the weed, the tui. i've lived in england for a total of 16 years and nz for 4, i live in england now but i can honestly say nz is better and its my home, can't wait to be back.

I'm a Caniwi since 34 years and am sharing Six60 music home here in Canada and I tell you people are bowled over by the Six60 band - their melodies, lyrics, soulful phresh sounds and not forgetting Stan Walker. Canadians are loving the NZ sounds - personally I am so over the American music scene. Now Canada, well that's another story - great sounds coming outta this country! :-) Go Six60 my favourite band! Best wishes for all your future songs and tours! You deserve all the success you achieve. More power to you~

Remember Americas music is all about sex, weed, drugs, girls, money and cars plus partying. While you listen to music here in NZ, we have a complete different view in music. More like reggae mixed with hip hop with lyrics about family and love we have for each and one another. Love as in family love. Not love as in making love. We talk about the other side of love. Not the dirty. If Yall know what I'm saying.
@xurix39539 жыл бұрын
***** Amen. This is why musicians sound more attractive by singing about a different topic instead of the SAME ONE. I'm so proud to be from NZ. It makes NZ's reputation look real good etc etc. Hoping my brother would continue talking about the other side of life in his music. He's in a band called Where's Poly.

No. SOME kiwis do have great voices. But US KIWIS like to BE MODEST and NOT boast our SUPERIORITY. But, all countries have people with great voices. New Zealand is just as great as any other country. We're all great right? Including Australia. I know some stupid kiwis who hate Australia and Australians for no reason and they even think that all of New Zealand agrees with them but guess what... Australia is just as Awesome as NZ and the people are also great.

I'm so fuckin happy Six60's music has reached around the world. I'm hoping that the rare music and lyrics we have (lyrics that aren't about sex, drugs, alcohol, partying and money) will make NZ unique and different from the other countries. When we hear the US music, it's all about girls etc. While NZ, all about family and experiences.
