This song always takes me back to my oldest brother and his crystal meth addiction. I was staying with him a month alone while my parents were on holiday in France. While they were away he relapsed and he used to yell directly in front of my face how much of a worthless brother I was. He stole from me. He got violent and for a period of time I was so worried about my own safety I was contemplating phoning the police on my own family . I used to listen to this song at least 5 times a day. It ripped my heart out as I was so close to him. I am the youngest he's the oldest and we share the same birthday. We had a special bond. The brother I grew up with was gone.. I tried to get support. I phoned my parents and they didn't want to believe it. I called my other brothers but they lived too far away to be of support. I felt isolated and alone.. I looked for help yet I was undermined by my parents who believed that they could pray the problem away instead of getting him the help he needed. I developed an anxiety disorder that I am only finally beating today. 5 years later.. He has been clean for almost 5 years now and I am so proud of him yet the drug has left it's scars. He is still not the same brother that I grew up with. I love him the same regardless. This song forever has a special place in my heart and it almost moves me to tears everytime I hear it. It transports me back into that place of helplessness and grief. He's come a long way.

My best friend and I were loving this song right before he died unexpectedly in a motorcycle accident. This song always reminds me of him in the best way. It makes me have a strong link with this song and I love and appreciate six60 for it. The fact they're kiwi just makes it that much more special. Thank you six60, I feel my friend when I listen to this

Been gone from my homeland for 15 years...worst thing is missing out on the uniqueness of our music. This is stunning so glad I chose a playlist on spotify that introduced me to this song...then finding an orchestral version on youtube MAGIC!

This song has helped me through some dark moments in my life. When the lyrics say "I'm not lost, I just want you, to find me", I always think that the "me" is myself in a lonely and vulnerable state. The "me" is myself who has lost a lot of friends, and misses home and family. The "you" is also myself, but the version of me that has purpose, and has insane amounts of love. This song challenges my internal thoughts, and why I do things. I feel like I don't fit in sometimes, and I always wear my heart on my sleeve. I like to act tough but sometimes I am lost. Sometimes I feel like I am drifting through the night, and not knowing where I am going. Sometimes I live life unconsciously. I go through days where I don't think and am not present. It's almost as if I am a ghost, doing regular things. The same feeling you get when you are sitting on a roof top and looking at the horizon. It's almost as if my direction is just out of reach. I'm not sure why I wrote this, but I'm sure I will figure it out. I hope whoever is reading this, that you figure it out too. 💕
