Personally if I'm gonna give up assets I'm doing it for a mid to late 20's good to terrific player who is making around 25mil a year and to me that equals Mikal Bridges. He's a perfect fit and still will allow you to fill out the rest of your roster properly

Jimmy is 35- I mean, he's still a nice piece, but max money? No, no, no. I think you have to try and focus on Ingram and resigning Oubre. Maybe try to pick up Drummond. Theres no it guys to acquire via star hunting certainly not George, or Butler to max. If somehow you can swing Anonuby, Mitchell, or Lauri (in that order) you do.

This is a good move. Idk why we're even talking about it He had one bad playoff run. That's it, a narrative to lower his value for contract negotiations. And maxey should be the one to take the heat off. Not butler. If we're viewing butler as a 2 than we shouldn't even have this conversation. Cause yah, Butler is older but he's one of the most hard working people in the gym. No reason to believe he doesn't have another 2-3 years. Albeit, he may not be the Jimmy we know. But even if he can't be a third, I don't think that will be a concern until the latter of his contract. His personality and defense def isn't going anywhere. Either way, PG would be a win and I def think he's leaving, but I think Jimmy brings a certain mentality mentally we're missing.
