Really excited for the Pistons this year. Just because Cade is almost definitely going to take a good leap. Last year in October when Cade played 8/12 total games he averaged 23/7/6/1 so I can’t wait to watch him this year. That’s not even mentioning Ivey n Duren n Ausar. All those guys are going to show why we have a T5 young core in the league.

I think the pistons should have this lineup 1. Cade, 2. Ivey, 3. Asuir Thompson, 4. Bagley, 5. Duran Trade Wiseman, Bojan, Joe Harris, and Monte Morris. Get picks or young players. They should draft players who can shoot. Then just develop cade, ivey, Duran & Thompson as there big 4.

Cade Ivey Ausar and Duren are certainly the most important pieces for DET, and I don’t think Wiseman or Bagley really have a future on this team. I’d like to see Wiseman or Bagley traded so there’s less bigs, whoever is playing worse after the first 30-40g or so can get shipped off. Prolly Wiseman, but honestly it’ll just depend on who’s playing better this season. But I don’t think it’s a good idea to trade away all of their players who can shoot the ball. Those vets are on the team for a reason and it’s to space the floor. Bojan is a knockdown volume shooter. Joe Harris is a guy who can play like 18-20min off the bench and shoot like 44% 3P. I understand trading Monte, but only if Sasser shows he can be a real solid backup PG by the deadline. If he needs more time, then you kinda need Monte for when Ivey or Cade miss games. Also Burks is a good vet to have who defends and is a good 3P shooter. Like I agree 100% that those are the core 4 for DET. I think Stew is more of like a 20MPG bench guy. I think he’s best as a backup stretch 5 for like 15-18MPG, then he can play the 4 for maybe 3-4 mins a game or w/e. I don’t think he’s a starting PF. Hopefully DET can build around those 4, then next yr either through trade, FA, or the draft…they can obtain a true 3&D PF. Like a 6”8 6”9 F who can guard 3s and 4s and knockdown 3s. Oh I also like Livers. I think he can be a solid rotation piece, like ya know a 9th man kinda F that can be a shooter with size off the bench. Maybe he can become a better defender and expand his game, he’s still young, but ya. He was a good 2nd round pick. I expect DET to be in the lottery again. Not going for a top pick, but like maybe around the 10th pick or so. Maybe they’ll get lucky and jump from there to the T4, or some good 3&D F drops to them…or they can trade the pick for that kinda guy. That’s really what they need.

Yeah once again Matt does a rebuild after a key signing. Poor timing strikes again lol. Just the way it goes sometimes 😅 idk what Troy Weaver is doing either. Like what exactly is the teams vision acquiring all those bigs? In the beginning it seemed like he was taking flyers on guys but now its getting to the point where there will be logjams and spacing issues which is not gonna be great.

@hungrypandastudios6213 I guess Harris provides more floor spacing in theory? Resigning Burks was interesting too. Guess they wanted to retain a vet in the locker room. They didn't flip him at the deadline last season so they must have valued his presence. If they wanted to they can still flip him for an asset if he has a good season but yeah lot of perplexing moves. Monty being their coach besides the young core is like the bright spot for me when looking at the team on paper.
