Quick Test and Review of a cheap bait boat

I look at and test my new cheap bait boat, I got this to help me get the rods at range of 40 plus as I find it hard to cast accurately, due to Parkingsons's

Hi Phil, great video mate enjoyed that. Can I ask you about the camera you are using please? It looks like you are streaming a live feed to your mobile phone from it. As most lakes don't have a wi-fi signal available is it a bluetooth connection between camera and phone? Thanks John

You can use Bluetooth to connect to your phone or just recorded on to the mini card and add video clip later, but yes has Bluetooth, oh mines a bit out dated now, it’s a five there is a 12 I think now, good camera go pro but the three built in mics can pick up a lot of noise from wind and things that touch what you context it too, I believe you can get a plug in mic with wind reducer on it .

I've seen one with strong rubber bands attached to the hopper and the handle definitely slowed it down

I wanna try one but don't like the speed of the hopper looks like it would put my hook bait closer to me rather than the lead

I got one & tried it out .. surprised the hell out me.. the hopper opens smooth with bait in it, it's really fast with nothing in it, but deffo ok loaded up

Has anybody tested the range on this? Being so cheap I don’t believe the range they state at 500m but knowing it’s good out to 300m is the most I think most people will use in the uk.

Put it this way if you want to go 500m buy a actual boat but it’s well worth the money and price I’ve had mine go out about 180m which is far enough I tested my battery and it lasted for about 2 half hour this was mucking about with the kids so you’ll not get anything better for this price 👍✌️

I think these boats do a great job The price is so cheap that if it only lasts 2 seasons youve had your monies worth

I know people who have had these for a few years and they still going strong. They are a good starter boat but at some point, You may want to upgrade. I sold mine because the clubs I’m in have banned them. The bloke I sold it to loves it. I think for the price they’re good.

Sounds like a dud battery or a loose connection I’d wouldn’t mess with it too much you’ll void the warranty
