The thing is... this group and the owner are legitimately awesome, for lack of a better term. I've won two instruments (dual-sided, dual necks) and they're an amazing toy to have. The company owner is spreading the gift of music to people not as fortunate and without the ability to purchase a guitar themselves. In struggling, 3rd world countries even. Sure, I've won a couple but that was just a bonus. I have multiple, expensive instruments from guitar to orchestra, so I had absolutely no need for one. I joined the group to just share the love of music and post videos, like I do on my personal profile daily anyway. However, I got selected to receive one... twice. MInor point - the agreement on the facebook group is a valid contract - it's meets the 4 requirements for a binding contract (offer, acceptance, consideration and legality [the latter meaning that people entering the contract are legally allowed to do so]). While in a court dispute a formal document signed by both parties would be the best option, as it is now doesn't mean it's not valid.

In Australia even verbal agreements and handshake agreements are legally binding, albeit hard to prove in a court of law. He actually, at first, recommends to you using a PO box if you feel uncomfortable giving out your address (like me). I am part of this group and a winner of these instruments... twice. Out of 35k members, 99.9% of them are good-hearted, caring people talking kindly to videos posted by others. Giving them motivation. Not everyone of the group is even there for a free guitar. The one's there that do bash anyone, even a single time, we get rid of. I talk to the owner Isola often as well, this video is blowing things out of proportion, untrue at times because personal interactions with him haven't occured for you/this content creator. He, Isola, is a very good-hearted individual brightening up the day or lives of others one guitar at a time. Imagine living in a 3rd-world country and this shows up to your house/shack. You'd be the talk of the town. Sending product to people for advertisement is genius, think about it. Rather than dumping a bunch of money into advertisement online and not giving anyone something to show for it... he decides to spend it on people. I personally am more than happy to help him/them. I didn't show up for a guitar, I have plenty, but I posting some videos of playing bass, guitar and electric-cello got me selected. *and please do not think, at all, I am trolling this person's video. I am sharing my personal story and interactions. Everyone has a right to their own opinion and this is the content creator's job, to make content for his subscribers to watch. I'm saying all this with full respect, man-to-man. ✌️
