Originally made strings, squier, fender would use their company to string their instruments. Family passed away, company soon to dissolve, fender bought squier .

I'm fortunate enough rn to be in the middle of turning what was basically a shack from the 60s into a home studio. You've given me some ideas, I appreciated this video. I'd love to share it with y'all when I'm done so you can roast me!

I have a 91 N2 and it is one of my favorite guitars. Always will be one of the best shred guitars out there.
@yourstereotypicalnerd23 сағат бұрын
I'm sure someone already made this comment, but its recommended for your first guitar to be a cheap one is because investing a lot of money into a hobby you never had before isn't ideal, since if you play the guitar for a while and decided it wasn't for you, you won't regret spending a lot of money on it. Of course, if you KNOW you will love playing guitar without playing it, then you can spend the money.
@sixstringtv123 сағат бұрын
But you're much more likely to think playing guitar just isn't for you if you start on some piece of junk. Luckily affordable gear has been getting better and better, making this less of an issue.

I remember listening to graveyard classics and wondering if whoever did the mix was on more drugs than Seth Putnam from AxCx. Never heard drums so high up in the mix but then again not like the rest was great.

Turns out Unburied is just a compilation of leftover tracks from Undead and Unborn, It kinda explains why it's not counted as a full length album by the band, why the album art is a combination of Undead and Unborn and why it's way worse than both of these albums

That song is actually one of the worst things that I've heard... the lyrics don't mean shit, the solo sucked ass and don't even get me started on the vocals... that's how i sounded when i was first starting vocals 3 years ago (btw your hair looks lustrous.... what shampoo do you use?)

I’ve seen RoS twice and met Ian the second time I saw them. Total sweetie tbh. I can see why he’s not in the band anymore. I personally liked his vocals and hope he does another project, whether it’s solo or with another band. Never met Lucas, but I’ve had a few interactions with him on Instagram, and yeaaahh dude runs the place like it’s the “Lucas Mann show” 😂

I’d really like to know why “technical music isn’t soulful” is such a popular option, besides coming from a place of either confusing taste for objectivity, or jealousy.

I do believe the Dunlop lemon oil is a gimmick woodworkers have been using real lemon oil for centuries to moisturize wood. True lemon oil is not acidic at all because it is made from the natural oils in the lemon peel, not lemon juice.

I've never even heard of a de-humidifier 😱 But that's probably because we don't live in a tropical climate here... We do have humidifiers available though! It's interesting how many different sections u can fit in 1 room. Like that aristocratic chair shot used in some vids 5:34 - would have thought it was an entirely different room or something, but it's just a smol one cubic corner! 😅
@sixstringtv13 күн бұрын
Turning one room into multiple different sets is definitely super efficient hahah

Nice! I hope you keep it looking tidy. I’m a slob myself, so even when I have good intentions, I always end up making a mess all over again not too long after cleaning up my stuff. That standing desk is a great addition and will help you a lot!

Polyphia deserves to be hated. Tim Hansen is a pretentious poser. His tattoos are stupid. His parents invested a lot of money into marketing his career. He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. This to me appears as unearned cred.

As a German American I don't know what I'm more surprised by. That Thoman is pronounced TH not Tow man or that a German can actually say TH.
@sixstringtv13 күн бұрын
Most people would probably pronounce the TH the same way they do in "Thomas", but I'd have to to consciously do that every time, this is just how I say it without thinking about it lmao

@Blazberry_Yaint3 күн бұрын
460 dollars USD? you could get a used guitar of dubious quality and condition and a cheap usb preamp for your laptop for the same price and probably have like 50 buck left over, i am not joking, i checked. glossing over this hunk of highly processed landwaste. I'm glad to hear that the Jamstik exists, whenever i saw adverts for this silly thing my mind immediately thought of a guitar with a midi controller being a cool idea

I have multiple hand problems, so huge respect just for the idea and thought process behind the picks, unfortunately, I'm a bass player and picks are forbidden. I get real Carl Thompson vibes from Patrick. A man so in love with his craft that it just oozes from every pore. If they haven't meet, I truly hope they do before Carl passes on. He's in his 80's now... Please, luthier gods, make it happen.
