El nivel de grave es tan profundo que con la frecuencia más baja vibran todas las cosas es impresionante!

I see this is an old video but absolutely beautiful. That ultra low can be addictive. I though I had something special but you have taken it to a level I can’t afford. Just curious and it’s just number but what kind of db reading are you getting in that room. I have so many more questions but I’ll stop here for now. Great job!!!

Insanely crazy, insanely great! No need for tactile transducers here! :D

Thanks man. To be honest, I could have saved a lot more space if I would have went the tactile transducer route. I highly recommend transducers for people in the pursuit of full bandwidth playback (i.e.- down to 1 or 2Hz). Even with all of the displacement that I have, the 7Hz fundamental in Bass I Love You is underwhelming. I might get a bit of pants flap and my storage room doors (obviously) go nuts, but a "PROPERLY" integrated transducer setup would be more effective since frequencies in the infrasound range (in my opinion - below 14Hz) are inaudible anyway. If you find yourself wanting more bass (especially in the infrasound range) than dual LMS-U's give you, try implementing a few transducers before of spending a ton more money on purchasing more subs, amps, etc... Again proper implementation is everything, and with your miniDSP 4x10 you are already ahead of the game. Enjoy.

Although this is very good, you'll get a lot more with fewer drivers if you use Hemholtz resonators tuned to just below 7Hz. I like the idea of making it low Q with some resistance in the vent path. You'll need bigger boxes to get the required tuning, but the excursion goes way down and with it, the distortion. BTW, it's very dangerous to run this sort of system in a contractor-built home. I hope you reinforced your walls, floor and ceiling joists. I can just imagine a conversation with the insurance adjuster, after the ceiling caves in! Concrete and rebar, for me!

basspig Mr. Pig, thanks for weighing in man. Are you referring to my hall being the vent? I only say that because the boxes you see in the video are all sealed. I have researched Hemholtz resonators in the past, but have yet to really explore that acoustic avenue. I don't worry too much about my house construction. Until I physically see someone injured from bass related destruction, I am going to press forward. I see a lot of people talking about "foundation cracking," or "structural integrity," etc...but have yet to see any realworld serious issues. This system has caused a few drywall cracks, nail pops and caused the stairwell leading into my basement to shift a small amount, but no real issues otherwise. I'm actually no longer in this home. Currently living overseas and I'm bassless!!!

Sorry for the late reply man. Yeah, I went the sealed route with all of my subs this go around. Might try a different approach in the future, but I'm enjoying what I have thus far. Glad you liked the video. I got a few other rowdy ones on my channel you might like.

I believe that you have 16 subs but Not 16 sundown or any Else that have massive Sound pressure cuz 16 sundowns break your Windows
@popalock85
@popalock85 6 жыл бұрын
Stereo Integrity. It's the sister company to Sundown. A car audio application is much different than home theater. Pick whatever sub you want, when you throw it in a home setting it has a MUCH larger volume of space to pressurize. Thus a room gain profile in a home vs a cabin gain profile in a car, is vastly different.

@@popalock85 you got him real good there man!! hahaaa these people...have no idea how much more is required when a sub has a bigger room to be filled...besides they ain't even got the bandwidth range of home subs..typical car subs with 12 inches are like...28hz and up to 55hz at MOST...home theater especially yours popalock probably does all the way down to 5hz or something i dunno for sure but definitely able to go all the way up to 100hz or higher if needed ....car people only do specific frequency range and dips out the 65-90hz range lol
