@@MattFouch I'm partial to the bass voice also. You and Tim Duncan are at the top of my list. Ernie Ford had a beautiful baritone voice, but bass is where it's at. Thanks for giving us the gift of your voice. My family will know where to find me in Heaven. I'll be the only female in the Bass section of the redeemed, just listening. I Do play te Bass Guitar, I started to play at eleven and sang bass with a barbershop group in high school. I'll see you someday in the bass section.

Some people say a man is made outta mud A poor man's made outta muscle and blood Muscle and blood and skin and bones A mind that's a-weak and a back that's strong You load sixteen tons, what do you get? Another day older and deeper in debt Saint Peter don't you call me 'cause I can't go I owe my soul to the company store I was born one mornin' when the sun didn't shine I picked up my shovel and I walked to the mine I loaded sixteen tons of number nine coal And the straw boss said "Well, a-bless my soul" You load sixteen tons, what do you get? Another day older and deeper in debt Saint Peter don't you call me 'cause I can't go I owe my soul to the company store I was born one mornin', it was drizzlin' rain Fightin' and trouble are my middle name I was raised in the canebrake by an ol' mama lion Can't no-a high-toned woman make me walk the line You load sixteen tons, what do you get? Another day older and deeper in debt Saint Peter don't you call me 'cause I can't go I owe my soul to the company store If you see me comin', better step aside A lotta men didn't, a lotta men died One fist of iron, the other of steel If the right one don't a-get you, then the left one will You load sixteen tons, what do you get? This is a real bass singer right here, very well done. It's not an easy song to sing and this is spot on, the low notes sound so natural. I can sing this low, but it's tough to get that vibrato and be so balanced. This is a half step lower I think than Geoff Castelluci sings it, sounds awesome. Very cool to continue seeing multiple versions of this that all do it justice, so much talent out there these days seriously.

Very good rendition. I like Tennessee Erni Fords the best. But you can't it better than Johny Cash

@@MattFouch wow! A song I can actually sing along with mostly... proud baritone bass moments for me

This has nothing to do with skill, but rather the level of the performance. A master brain surgeon can have amazing levels of skill and still perform poorly or make bad decisions that result in the loss of a patient. The singer has an appropriately deep voice, but he spent the time singing a song which is essentially a miner grumbling about a life of backbreaking labor and crippling debt with a giant smile on his face and no emotion behind the words. I've heard great baritone performances. This isn't one of them.

@@danagray9709 Yeah, his voice is great but smiling and wearing a suit and tie while singing this song is very 'tone deaf' in the marketing sense of that phrase.
