What a fitting cover for the end of the year. Phendrana Drifts from Metroid. A winter cover, and a song that I could use to really build up the end of 2016. This was also the first cover requested through my VG Idol competition, requested by my patrons and voted on by you!
Also orchestra is back! I really wanted to get better with orchestra, so I was like "ehhhh why not do a huge orchestral outro" and bam there it is. Still trying to work it out and get it into more covers, so look out for it.

A rare case of Toxic being anything less than Gandhi-level kind: He requests you to cover this song despite having already made the definitive metal cover of it. But I'd say you filled the massive shoes he asked you to wear pretty damn well. The intro and outro were my personal highlights.

I loved it. Just a small bit of constructive criticism: the lead in the first half of the song can get slightly grating, I think if you gave it a healthy amount of reverb and spaciness it would really help it sit into the rest of the mix (which is fantastic). The second half of your cover is brilliant. I wish the the arpeggiated chords around 4:14 were a little more front and center.

This is great, but the ideas feel very similar to the Metroid Metal cover. Also, this doesn't bother me much at all, but the mix has too much trying to fit in the higher end. It's muddy up there. I also couldn't distinguish the bass in the mix. This song really needs that low end to really feel the atmosphere. Otherwise, great work!
