Both of them were in the military, and the husband was still active duty, and everytime he would be away on duty, they would always stay in touch with each other, but then he noticed her behavior was kinda off, so he catfish'd her to see if she was being unfaithful to him when he was away on work duty. Imo what they both did were shitty in that episode but the wife was definitely more shitty. It's wrong to deceive your partner in that way, even if you suspect cheating. 47:43 47:53 Topic is pretty interesting but I got to this point in the video and just felt compelled to write this: There is a spectrum when it comes to disabilities. Just because someone has crutches or wheelchairs doesn't mean everyone need it 100% of the time. Yes, obviously there are many people who do but there are people in wheelchairs or crutches that can stand up and walk on their own. I've personally known someone who has crutches but I've seen them sometimes walk with a walking stick or just on their own. There's just a limit to how long they can do it before it becomes too much for them. This kind of misconception seems pretty common so I just felt like writing this to inform anyone reading this that weren't aware of this.
@ZeUberflip7 ай бұрын
I was genuinely ignorant about this but it now that I know it seems like that should be common sense, thanks for saying something about it
@silversuperfan14127 ай бұрын
@@ZeUberflip glad to hear someone got something out of my comment. There’s another thing I think I should have also added in my original comment: as I said, disabilities are like a spectrum and so, other disabilities like blindness are also like that. Visually impaired vs totally blind and all that. Some people, such as myself, can see a decent amount and can walk around without a blind cane, but they don’t have the average 20/20 vision. Some can only tell how bright someplace is, etc. Here’s a fact that you’d also think would be common sense: No one, disability or no, likes being touched out of nowhere. Yet you’d be surprised how many people grab those of us who are legally blind at like cross walks without asking if we need the help. Do not do this. Even if we understand it was with good intentions, don’t assume we need the help and take initiative like that for us. There’s another piece of knowledge I thought I’d share. Hope this info was even just a little bit insightful. Also, hope you’re having a good day (or whatever time it’s for you).
@charlenecunningham48984 ай бұрын
And this leads to discrimination and harassment. If you see someone using accommodations, don't ❓ them. It's honestly none of your business. Those type of people make people wary of using accommodations that increase their quality of life. I know people with handicap passes chased down in grocery stores. People harassed for using wheelchair service at the airport. Its not ok
@mapleglass14013 ай бұрын
As a woman with an invisible disability that sometimes is visible (via my gait) & doesn’t use mobility aids, I cannot tell you how much I appreciate you spreading awareness & understanding. There are also dynamic disabilities, where our needs change due to stress, our condition(s) and other factors. Sometimes I’m more functional because I’ve taken better care of myself, outpatient management has been more successful, etc. If you ever see a person without their mobility aid or is using more support (like taking breaks, working a different schedule, etc), it’s because that’s where they are today, this week, etc. Thanks again for your visibility effort. I’ve only very recently understood that I’m disabled and identify as disabled. Seeing support and voices that amplify us are so affirming & healing for my own internalized ableism & shitty experiences from others.

Note, lots of people who use wheelchairs or mobility aids of any sort, do not use them 24/7, but are ambulatory users, because they need their mobility aid enough of the time that they benefit from a mobility aid. I use a cane, and occasionally a walker, but i seldom use them while in my own apartment, because its generally not strenuous enough to move around my apartment, as it is if I'm going to be out walking, or if I need to go downstairs. Generally judging people's usage of mobility aids, and insinuating they don't need them, is rooted in ableism even when unintentional, but narratives that a disabled person doesnt 'need' their mobility aid can lead to really bad harassment. I, for example was harassed a lot online, because people thought it was weird I use a cane, and even irl, I've literally had a stranger try to take my cane away from me, which triggered a seizure episode that I use my cane to keep me safe during. Love your content, but really just wanted to share some feedback on those comments, as a disabled person.

I’ve never watched something so damn unhinged 😂😂😂 This is truly Justin’s shot at showing off his acting skills in the hopes the Catfish team brings him back to LA with them where he can finally live out his acting dreams….

You should the episode on Ashlee and Red, I think it was where the catfish was the same girl from a previous episode.

If the Ashlee you are talking about is the Ashlee I'm thinking of, she also has a My 600 Lb Life episode too
@bleukettu45218 ай бұрын
@@iamsocoolz OMG I think you're right! Edit: I had to check and it is Ashley Taylor she was on 2 episodes of catfish and on My 600 Life, there's a whole subreddit about her and it's a trip.

Justin knew the program, the format, what he was getting into. I don’t understand this with X Factor either. Candidates come onto the show and then they suddenly disagree with the hosts, their character, the concept when they should at least accept the host’s opinion, ok it’s not easy to be criticised in front of an international audience but they subscribed to the format by taking part. To attack a host’s character doesn’t make sense, when they asked for Nev’s reaction by taking part.
