He was using his own pictures and info, he was actually just being himself and not an actual Catfish but was blowing the person off and during the confrontation he was paying little to no attention to anyone or anything besides his phone so Nev goes “hey can I see that for a sec?”, Kidd Cole uncomfortably hands it to him, and Nev throws it in a 𝘧𝘶𝘤𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 river. It’s absolute gold. But Kiddie Cole is a big boy with money (that he also promised he’d pay back to the victims he Catfished and stole thousands from) and was embarrassed so he threatened to sue so MTV so they did their best to wipe the episode from the internet. Every now and then it pops up from somebody somewhere before getting taken down again. I recommend searching it up on Reddit and follow and read some of the threads and you might find it somewhere online.

27:21 Half way thru the video and I just want to drop this. In the US a person can be arrested and have a mugshot taken without being guilty of a crime. A mugshot is taken when a person is arrested, before being put into a holding cell. At this point the police are deciding whether or not the person will be awaiting trial in the local jail, or if they will be bailed out to await trial at home or in the local area. The person in question will then attend trial to be deemed guilty or not after all of this has happened. TLDR: You can have a mugshot even if you are not guilty of a crime, and all charges against you are dropped.

I wanted to say something like this. I have a mugshot. I got into a physical fight with a BF many moons ago and he called his brother and his wife who came to the house and I was just chill and avoided them all and the next thing I know the cops are in my apartment arresting me for domestic violence bc the brother or maybe the wife called the cops (they both denied it but I don’t think my BF called and it was like 45 minutes AFTER the altercation). Got my mugshot taken, the cops were at least pretty nice to me but still cuffed and arrested me but made the charge “simple battery” which is less than domestic violence apparently. Anyway, at my court date a few weeks later, the arresting officer showed up and said the charges should be dropped because it was clearly mutual and if anything, I was defending myself 🤷‍♂️ I still have a mugshot on the internet tho. I didn’t go to prison lol, I spent a night in jail. Maybe it’s different in South Africa but I doubt it. Innocent until proven guilty but they still take your mugshot. But man, that poor other Anthony Thomas. He’s got no eyebrows and now he’s on national TV as a gay guy somehow calling a dude from jail (unless he had a secret phone, every call from jail begins with “this is a call from such and such correctional facility blah blah blah” so it was nonsense from the startv

I remember ages ago on the Amino app my friend was in like a year long relationship with a guy she met on there, I met her close to their 1 year anniversary and I was immediately suspicious of him so once when he sent pics I reverse image searched and immediately they came up, even clips of him singing and playing guitar were stolen from youtube and after I brought this up to my friend she told me she was now suspicious of our other friends boyfriend in the community and then through a bit of digging we unearthed the revelation that my friend’s catfish boyfriend was also catfishing our friend and pretending to be like 5 different people in the community who we all talked to, it was fucking crazy and my friends immediately deleted the whole community and were devastated and I just felt so bad for them 😢 we stopped talking like 5 years ago but I hope they’re doing well now…..but yeah that’s my version of craziest catfish story also if it sounds like we should’ve all realized sooner my friend was 13 and I was 15 or 16 years old so 😭 listen it was easy to fool us

my laptop hanged really badly and my death screen was a still image of leo making a slightly suggestive face (around 54:48) and I tried to resolve it but eventually had to bring my sorry ass to my dad and ask him for help. so we both stared at leo's face while trying to reboot this shit and it was even WORSE when the laptop company's tech support dude (lifesaver tbh) asked for a pic of the screen. alls good, resolved it in an hour or so but now my dad knows i have an interest in watching close ups of a brown man talking.
