The first thing I think about in the morning is my morning prayer. I want to pray before my feet hit the floor each morning. AND I thank the Good LORD for the new day.

That first cup of coffee in the morning is one of the most favorite rituals I enjoy. I use to battle depression and discovered a lot of it was stemmed from negative thinking, first thing in the morning. I've trained my brain to stop that pattern, and after time it has gotten easier. Even automatic, to think more positively.

I’m retired. I’m 71. When I turned 70 I decided to start doing things I wish I could do or have told myself I can’t do at my age. I go to a fitness center now 3 times a week with my 47 year old daughter. I have just started watching your channel and you have some great ideas. Can’t wait to watch more of your videos.

I begin my day with tea, generally ice tea to wake up, and then prayer and Bible reading first thing; some positive inspirational reading, and then I have a list of positive affirmations that I always say out loud. Connecting with God provides one with energy and enthusiasm. After that, I head to the gym. I don't allow an achy body or negativity to fill my thoughts. You CHOOSE how you start your day.

Toni Kerly HA! ME TOO! My husband has been thru health problems, & so have I. So we find things we enjoy doing together, 1 of which is cooking together. But he gets up much earlier than me, takes a walk then comes home & goes in our Sauna. We worked hard & R blessed to afford to live in this beautiful neighborhood, AND to have our own Sauna! So I think another thing I can do is, get up early, take a walk w him & go in the Sauna with him ! Wink, Wink ;)

I generally wake up in a bad frame of mind and spend some time and effort climbing out of that. Lately, I've been sleeping a bit better, so that helps. Coffee is definitely something I enjoy first thing. I've made a decision to work to focus my intentions for the day, in a positive way. Not exactly clear how that will be accomplished. I'm starting to watch your videos and that helps. Every step in the right direction helps a little, at least!

I surround myself with things I love....next. COFFEE time...feed birds that come to my yard..watch them eat and bath... I prepare a Gratitude..Food..and To Do List... Best time is when I sit at the mirror...prepare my face to greet the day. Makeup and being a woman is a Wonderful Thing 🙋👠

I think that the luck you get in life is the parents you're born to. Today, if I were destitute and in the worst of health, I would still consider myself to be the luckiest person in the world to have had the parents I did. Although I don't have them physically with me anymore, I know that their energy has been added to the good and positive energy that surrounds not just me but everybody. So they are still with me. I am so very lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky....
