Hey I’m the maker of the detachment 0 map. It’s awesome to see it appear in videos! I’m working on an update for it soon that will revamp most of the walls and also redo the audio so you won’t hear suspects through 10 walls. Great video and have a wonderful day man!

The only thing Uvalde serves as an example of, is what happens when the local authority decides to be pants-on-head and actively hamstrings the response in violation of not just procedure, but also in violation of common sense and basic decency. It was a cascade of screwups that never should have happened, and would not have occurred had the local authorities on-site used basic common sense and adhered to protocol. It REALLY says something,that it was BORDER PATROL, that finally had enough and decided to move in.This likely at the urging of one of the border patrol officers, whose wife was in the school and had been shot, after being detained by the other cops because he was willing to go in and refused to wait for the higher ups to decide it was time to go in. The incident there serves as reason for why funding and with it, training standards, NEED to be maintained, without compromising to meet quotas or agendas.

Well it serves as an example as a LOT of things. Like people's sheer reliance on government. Governments egearness to go after easy targets/law abiding citizens faster and more often than more dangerous criminals. I could go on and on.

Thank you, very good material on the structure and logic of indoor combat. I would like to add one thing regarding the "get off the X" moment. From my experience of indoor combat as part of an army unit, when fighting with an approximately equal or superior enemy, "getting off the X" by pushing to the enemy can be an unjustified risk. Usually, upon contact, the group retreats from a dangerous doorway, suppresses the enemy (often by shooting blindly) and simultaneously uses grenades (preferably impact granades) and other explosive devices. Of course, in most cases, this approach is poorly applicable for police forces, but in any heavy fight, it may save a lot of lives.

For some reason this video made me think of the Ali Saddiq bit where he became the president of the PTA and hired his ex gang member friends to do security for the school, then they kidnapped one of the teachers and put him in the back of their van because he was “looking shady”.

very interesting and very informative, nice job! Frankly, in Ready or not, the way S rank is made, feels often weird. For VIP suspects, i can imagine non/less lethal means but active shooter/terrorist, it just looks silly here.

13:02 is the quote "if you can see the other wall in the hallway then you are doing it wrong." True or correct? It would be putting yourself in possible danger with your back to a unknown area in a way where your partner can fight that threat

I thought schools had security after all the other cases in some states?
@AttacMageАй бұрын
plenty of grade schools have and have had resource officers, but I don't think they're always armed. Didn't notice a holster on the one at my High School, but it's been a while now. Utah is also a lot more lax with firearms, so I wouldn't be surprised if they did have them.
@notjebkerman6207Ай бұрын
@@AttacMage IIRC, about 45% of schools have an SRO present at least once a week, and 91% of SROs are armed. With the exception of police (13% of schools only have non-SRO cops regularly on site), armed security on-site is rare.
