Their Turn the Page is good, too. Heavy (duh), obviously very personal, reflects early arena days. No sax-- fine by me!-- Kirk's slide guitar: stellar✨️! Live, Quebec, Nov '09, is amazing.

Hey man, if you like early Metallica you really should check out some newer stuff. They’ve definitely returned to their old sound on the last 3 albums. I highly recommend starting off with spit out the bone, moth into flame and the day that never comes.

@@SixxDaze Lux Æterna is like a tribute to Motorhead, Mercyful Fate and other bands the guys used to listen to when they where young. I think that if you listen to Room of Mirrors, Too Far Gone and Inamorata from the new album you will enjoy those a bit more. :)

Most that say that have not even listened to newer Metallica. If they heard Spit out the Bone they would change their tone unless they are just complete haters or trolls
