First time I caught you in my cue. I support 2 bands with my megar means. One Austrian family out of Liverpool and Liliac. The Fangs wanted a ballad with the Queen of Hearts album. And what a power ballad they gave us. This was truly a family effort collaboration. Father came up with the beginning riff that they expanded on and wrote the string parts. MeloDia had a poem that worked etc. Truly a family affair. Just for shits and giggles, replay the last part and put your hand to your speaker. You will feel all of Abigails double bass kicks she puts in. Ups your senses. I enjoyed your reaction. I did play it all the way thru to the end. They have a lot of originals you could go thru with videos. Hope to see more Liliac from you. Peace be with everyone. Stay safe. God Speed. FANG 4 LIFE! RORH 🤘 🦇

@@R-Mouse2299 I've been saying for awhile now that Abigails hard hitting style makes up part of their Vamp Metal style. If you're a drum nut, put your hand to the speaker and feel those double kicks. Not just triplets. I had a friend in the 70s that embraced the double bass. He wore a kidney belt. Not only do you need coordination, it engages your core and you have to be so strong. Abigail is so strong. I sometimes refer to her as the Amazon Princess. I was so happy when her custom kit was the double bass. I love them all. It's a family affair! Thanks. 🤘🦇

We (Fangs) have been trying and trying, to get this song (and others) air time on major radio stations. It's extremely hard because of them being an Indy band. The labels control this with the almighty dollar. Once in a while, a station will have a special slot for Indy, or something of that nature, and if you get lucky, they choose your request. They just need that break to get the attention they deserve. They are working hard everyday, been paying their dues for years now. All Reactors are very important to the group, and for this, I appreciate you giving them notice, but more so, I Love that you share the same mindset, all of us caring fans have for them. Thank you for a great reaction. Let me fill you in on the song a little bit. Melody the singer wrote the song, each of the kids wrote their own music notes to the song, and Papa Liliac wrote all the string music. They produced this song themselves and Papa Liliac hired a man to do the drone footage. And Sam the lead guitarist edited the song. You should listen to all their originals. I know you said to email you the songs, but I'm not that good on a computer yet to email you. They just released two new ones. Last in Line by Dio. It was a tribute to a cancer fund given by his wife Wendy. And a song called Dear Father. Go to their website and you can learn so much more about this wonderful young band. By you playing Liliac I bet you get a lot of new subscribers. I just subscribed to your channel myself. RORH!!!!!!

I've said elsewhere that I think this is my favorite of their originals.. between this, Mars and Nothing. I whole heartedly agree with you on the comparison to Bohemian Rhapsody. That came to mind when I heard this the first time as well as Billy Joel's Scenes from an Italian Restaraunt. Also made me think, this is what ELO would be doing if they were metal. I don't want to get off on what I'm capable of.. quite a bit.. and still have a difficult time seeing these kids in 6 years essentially go from picking up instruments for the first time to being essentially a Headline act looking for an audience. A TOP Headline act looking for an audience. Let's face it, they've taken on the all time top 20 Hard rock and metal tunes and shredded them in covers - in some cases improving on them. And their originals are on the level of what they're covering. I'm with you, I'd put this song next to Bohemian Rhapsody 7 days a week and as many times as I could get away with on the last one. No problem. Instant classic. They should be everywhere, IMO. And I think Melody's voice stands up to Freddie Mercury level for uniqueness. She's got qualities to her voice that I've heard from others like Ethridge, Raitt, Tyler.. But none of them sound like her. And I think Marc Martel is the only person I've heard in my life that actually sounds like Freddie. Tough act to follow. At any rate, babbling; so, Cheers!

Thank you for a fangtastic reaction to my favourite Liliac original . I agree with every point you made . For my money this is pure poetry and the execution of it's as professional as any mainstream band . I think they don't get the radio airplay they deserve because they are fiercely independent and they talk about the ridiculous contracts they have been asked to sign , so they are not controlled by the parasitic music industry . That's why we need reactors such as yourself that can recognise the talent and can spread the word . Fang4life RORH
@SixxDaze3 жыл бұрын
Remaining independent and succeeding may take longer. But maintaining control of your music and your self respect is so worth it. I have so much respect for artists that choose this route. As I told someone earlier, I could be a lot more popular and successful as a reactor if I would fake my reactions. But I have to look at myself in the mirror and I couldn’t do that if I was doing phony reactions. I will definitely be spreading the word.

Their musical prowess is the awe inspiring factor. They also command visual. Listening to their cd's always makes me yearn to see them. Abigail is spooky with situational awareness on the drums.

Melody and Sam are the main writers but it's a collective effort and their dad probably has a lot to do with the process. I guess they write, give him the lyrics and chords and then he tweaks some things here and there, gets back to them and they may do more changes until the song is ready. Their dad has experience in the industry, he's been a producer and he seems to know what he's doing.

I have listened to alot of new bands. For me Melody is the most chameleon singer of all of them. Sam can play anything. Abby on drums gets better and better. Ethan and Justin are growing. I too am an honest reactor. The Warning is always brought up. They are good musicians but average singers, The big thing for me is the versatility of Liliac. Many of their songs are different all together. Reminds me of the Beatles in that way. Just my opinion.
@SixxDaze3 жыл бұрын
We all have them, opinions that is. A lot of average singers have long successful careers in music. I can see the similarities with the Beatles.
@cristyrawks63253 жыл бұрын
@@SixxDaze Yeah look at Bret Michael, ugh average singer. Vince Neil, Jon Bon Jovi, and Ozzy, also average. So many that did not deserve the fame they got simply becuz they were carried by their exceptional bandmates. But then you got far superior singers like Klaus Meine of Scorpions who became famous but not in the states like the average ones did. smh

As a singer for most my life, I always had a thing about lame female singers; Joan Jett comes to mind. This is how I feel about the girlie bands coming out like The Warning. The instruments are exceptional I admit, but the singers open their mouths and it's over for me. 2 years ago when I first heard Melody, I thought I was going to explode I was so excited to hear that grit, that rasp, that pure rock voice that I now call "crushed diamonds on velvet". She is what we've been needing since Lzzy Hale. AND what is even more wonderful is that this family is and will stay independent, and follow their spiritual walk of life with God in the midst of the rock world. #RORH
